Looks like Jim will be doing an interview at the convention center. Don't know how that works if you dont have a badge/wristband. This will be my first SXSW experience.

Wondering too. Been to the last 15 SX's but never tried to go to one of these.

On Jim's site it had him listed in the middle for Friday night.

ok, SXSW had indeed officially posted that Jim is playing from 7 to 7.40 on Friday.

Was hoping for a little later.
But maybe he'll get to play a little longer than 40 minutes if he starts at 7.

so i google mapped it, and i should have at least 15 minutes to get from my show before that to auditorium shores.  and google maps says it's .9 miles to the show.

i can do it.

Yeah, this is pretty perfect!   Very jealous of all attending.  A little birdie told me it was free bourbon on the ranch last year as well?

Nice!  A taping on May 5th.  Wonder if he'll squeeze in the whole album...  Also wonder if he'll get a full hour.  Your article says this will be Jim's 6th time on ACL!

i'm on their email list and they sent out a code to enter to get tickets.
i happened to get it in time.
that round of tickets went quick.
i emailed a few of my friends instantly, and they were already gone.
