Anyone heard of these guys? Apparently theyve opened for Deer Tick as well as Lucero so Im guessing at least a few here have.

A friend recommended them to me a couple days ago, their debut album is being released tomorrow March 5th. Ive listened to it a handful of times now and really liking it. Hard to compare them to anyone that I could come up with because their sound is fairly diverse/varied, best comparison Im hearing is CCR/Fogerty. Then again, sometimes I hear a little Van Morrison, classic r&b/soul type vocals, or even Delta Spirit's singer Matt Vasquez on a few of the tracks. Only complaint is the album is a little short considering 4 of the songs had previously been released on an EP, but hey, its all new to me.

i saw them open up for Deer Tick, too..they were great...reminded me of Fogerty or The Band...following them on FB and trying to see them again in NYC..

I am really digging it. Just started listening to it tonight. I definitely hear some Delta Spirit vocals in there. Regardless, this is really good stuff.
