I actually listened to the.KOL's first single 'Supersoaker,' and thought it was pretty decent, nothing breaking ground but listenable.

Also looking forward to Neko Case' new album: The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You due out 9/3
Oh, I will dine on honey dew And drink the Milk of Paradiseeeee

Come Closer

Yeah I liked that Neko Case single that came out last month. Just announced:

Dr. Dog- B-Room (10/1)

New KOL song is good, but they did exactly what I thought they'd do after their last album flopped and their douchey attitudes caught up with them. "Lets sound like our old stuff." I have a hard time believing them.

I can honestly say the next album I am looking forward to getting my grimey mitts on is Pearl Jam's "Lightning Bolt".

Edit... Pearl Jam is my 2nd for now... J Roddy is my next album I am anticipating the most... Thanks for the reminders!!!

Ha!   I had the EXACT same reaction when I heard that song.   It sounds like old stuff but kind of boring version of the old stuff.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I mean, if it was the first song I've ever heard of theirs, I'd probably love it. I honestly just don't believe them. If the last one was a smash hit, and that back down south song was huge, this album would probably be a fucking country album. But I think they are trying to save face by saying "Look at how garage rock we can still be." And I'm just not buying it. And that's coming from someone who thinks the song is actually pretty good. I think its bullshit, sadly. I think they just want to be popular,  by any means nessesary.

A lot of people hate on Circuital or Jims solo album, but at least they are doing whatever the fuck they want, and not giving a shit how you or anyone feel about it. Ill take that anyday.

That sweatshirt vid reminds me of yonkers by tyler the creator, hehe.

Theyre both in the Odd Future crew, as you probably know, so Id say thats part of the reason why. I thought both of Tyler's albums were major disappointments, or at least Goblin was, with Wolf I basically heard what I was expecting after what I heard on Goblin, except worse.

I thought when I first heard of Odd Future, Earl Sweatshirt was the most talented, but he's been largely off the radar until recently because of military school or whatever it was. Now Frank Ocean really impressed me last year, but to me you cant compare such different music, and I didnt even realize Ocean was in OFWGKTA until long after I heard his album last year. So, I guess what Im trying to say is Earl is easily better than the rest of the rappers in their crew, and actually I think his flow and lyrics have taken another step with these recent tracks Ive heard like the one Mahgeetah34 posted. The production on his upcoming may be similar to Tyler's albums, but to me he is on another level lyrically.
I always enjoyed this from Tyler's album.

Pretty perfect to think DT, Roddy, Dog, and Pelican have new albums coming out within a month of each other but this one has me brain abuzz as well.
