Tickets don't seem to be in demand at all for Camden. There are still Pits left and also pairs in row A.

I've seen Wilco many times, however, I've only seen MMJ once so I'm pumped about the Irvine and Mountain View shows. Although my favourite Wilco era is the post-Bennett/pre-Cline&Sansone, this is one of my favourite Wilco songs:

WILCO - YOU ARE MY FACE

Shug

One of my faves, too.  The pretty melodic pop side of Wilco.  Great singing on this one, too.
"Some like their water shallow, I like mine deep"

At this point in my wilco and MMJ loving life, if all the sets are 1.5 hours or less, if rather see wilco headline. I love MMJ slightly more, but having seen them 30+ times, their short "hits only" sets aren't that exciting anymore. Wilco I've only seen 3 times, so I don't care what they play and ill be stoked
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Thanks for all of the suggestions and replies, I think its just a stylistic thing as they are pretty slow and melodic throughout and definately not as rawk as I would normally like.  Of course I really dig the Mountain Goats who aren't very rock at all, but the pace of their music seems to carry the music a little more the way I like.  I do really like Impossible Germany, but none of the others are really clicking.  I'll still give them some more listens between now and the shows and maybe something will click.   :drum:

I don't really think it is even possible to get 1.5 hours out of all three bands by the time they throw the warm up band in the mix, and set up each band's gear after every set.

Solution: Have everyone on the stage at the same time and just rotate songs with everyone collaborating. This way everyone gets to play for 3+ hours and everyone's happy

I suggested this idea earlier in the thread.  It would be perfect! I just don't see Dylan going for it.

I'm pretty sure it lists showtime as 5:00 PM  though, so it is possible if the opener really goes on at 5.

e_wind

Yeah if the show starts at 5, that could be 7 hours of show time. Even if they spend 2 hours doing set breaks, that's 5 hours between 4 bands. One is an opener. I think 1.5 is accurate for our "headliners"

I don't know if the set will be longer, but it should give them more flexibility if they want to stretch a jam for a little longer. I would hope the headliner at least gets an encore.

if the dylan/wilco/mmj headliners rotate in that order from the beginning of the tour, i should be in line for a mmj headlining set!

As I can only make the Peoria show I am trying to tell myself it will be an MMJ headlining show since the next show is Chicago which has to be a Wilco homecoming headlining show and after the St. Paul show which I will hope is a Dylan kind-of homecoming headline show.

(That said, I feel Dylan is probably the bigger draw in Peoria, so maybe the Twin Cities gets MMJ and Peoria gets Dylan.  Wilco will most likely get Chicago though).

Looks like the Camden show isn't selling that well atleast the pit area as mentioned above. Was able to get pit tixs 2 hours after on sale date Saturday and jut checked now and still pit ga available. Would have thought the reason was older Dylan fans preferring to sit? will be a vast difference of fans in the crowd.

I hope they can handle the high energy face melting they are going to get during MMJ's set because that's going to be much different than what they are used to.

I thought it said the show started at 5:30, no? And I assumed that meant that the opener went on at 5:30 not that the first headliner went on at 5:30.

I hope you all are right though!

Normal non-cool live bands typically headline by themselves and only play for 1.5 hours.  So with two cool live bands and a Dylan on top to play 1.5 hour sets in one night is pretty damn okay with me .

I'll keep my fingers crossed for that as I am going to both Peoria/Chicago. Regardless, I am just beyond stoked to see this grouping of bands in one go.
Mona Lisa must'a had the highway blues, you can tell by the way she smiles.

So for you guys who already bought your tickets, what time did you get the Roll Call e-mail with the presale password? The Toronto presale starts tomorrow, and still no e-mail. I know they said it would be e-mailed the day before, so I guess I'm just wondering what time today I should start worrying.

Fully

It came in the evening after supper.

subinai

just read that Beck was added to the Jones Beach date that MMJ is not playing

That pretty well sums it up for me to.  Impossible Germany is amazing, but the other stuff isn't resonating with me.  I'll give them more listens as well.  The suggestions are much appreciated.

MPP has a stricet 11:00 curfew so they'll have to start early if the three headliners each get 90 minutes.
