Bridgeport is literally the town next to where I live.  I was thinking about going out of town that weekend to see another band, but I don't know how I can pass up this show.

I've been to minor league games at the stadium but not a concert.

There's a pretty good bar/restaurant for a pregame meetup.  I was there before seeing Rush and Neil Young & Crazy Horse/Patti Smith/Everest at the Webster Bank Arena.  It's linked below.

Does anyone know the pricing tiers? For example, at the ampitheaters on Live Nation, are the cheapest seats ($39-40) likely to be all lawn?

Late to the thread as usual.

It really sucks the Denver date is at Fiddler's instead of Red Rocks. And why is there a need for a fourth performer?  I have seen all three bands in the last year, and if Bob doesn't get someone to sing his music, I will go home after MMJ and Wilco.

Looks good Bill.

Do you know if the Holiday Inn there is as close as they say? They told me it was less than a 1/2 mile, and a safe doable walk. I was thinking of taking an Amtrak up and back, so won't have wheels. The hotel offers a shuttle to/from the train station so that works, and if the ballpark is walkable, it should all be easy like Sunday morning.

Hope to see you at Barnum.

Has anyone ever seen a concert at AutoZone Park in Memphis?  Do you think the field will be GA or seats?

I live in Memphis and asked a buddy who went to DMB there and the field was all GA.

I forgot about DMB in 2008! Looks like the only other concert there besides that one was Bob & Willie in 2005. I asked around and it will more than likely be GA for this.

Hey Sheets! Nice to see a fellow Memphian around here.

Voodoo Fest was there after Hurricane Katrina. It was NIN and QOTSA I think.

Does MPP have a pit ? If they do has it been  is it offered in the Roll Call presale ?
If not ,what kind of seats have been available ?

Yes, and in the past the GA has been part of the presales, but not all of it so some people pull seats.

I'm all in for MPP, of course, my home venue.  Y'all are invited to a pre-show party as for the show last MMJ show in August - stay tuned for details and just show up a bit earlier this time!

I generally enjoyed reading through this wonderful thread except for the "judging".  I, and many others I presume, come here to escape somewhat from our regular lives and commune with those who have a passion for MMJ and similar delights.  This is a place for us to share excitement, personal stories and, yes, some off topic ramblings.  You have control over what you read so pass on the things that you're not interested in or bore you; to someone it's important.  Lets be a little more tolerant, please, so we can keep up the really positive vibe on this forum.

Party on!

Missed that too. Guess that place has never really been on my radar. I'm curious about the acoustics there. I'm excited they're stopping by no matter where they play though.

It seems like these presales will be shared with Dylan and Wilco as well, so Roll Callers may not get the almost-guaranteed super sweet seats we're used to. It's all Ticketmaster this time 'round! For all the shit we talked about GC
presales, most of 'em went smoothly. Here's hoping we have equal amounts of success with our first Ticketmaster Roll Call presales!

Whoa. Read my email tonight about this tour and was shocked. Did not expect MMJ to tour this year, or at least until fall/winter. Just spent a cool 2 hours reading this entire thread. Had no clue, I guess thats what I get for mostly just checking the other music and off topic forums these days.

Right now, no clue what show(s) I would check out, but I cant see myself totally missing this tour. Coincidentally, I did get a conditional job offer today in Norfolk, VA which is basically mine as long as my criminal history, references, and piss test (weed free for 7 years!  ) all come back good which they all should. So getting a job offer on the same day a Jacket show is announced about 10 miles from my future homeplace has to be the stars aligning, amiright?!!  :cheesy:

Personally, I agree.  When I joined the site 3 years ago, I could never have imagined that so many people would be as touched by this band as I am.  The first show I went to where I actually met up with roll call peeps was awesome because everyone was very friendly.
ps: I was hoping they would tour this summer.  I thought about Jim being so busy, but it seems it's in his nature, and the rest of the boys hopefully have had a little r&r.  And now it's time to get them back out on the road together.

If I can make it to this show, I will cross three things off my bucket list:

going to a show at MPP
getting roofied at a show (because apparently it happens here), and
tasting your wife's homemade pickles. (edited: unless the pickles contained the rufinol)
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

welcome to the 757!  We'll have a small group of dedicated fans going to this show so let me know if you want to meet up or anything.
Don't you ever turn it off

You (all) again.

Late to the game here, but suffice it to say that my "summer off" has been compromised.  And I'm definitely not complaining.  Difficult as it is to accept, I believe the Hoboken show will be my one and only for this tour.

The venue is interesting, for sure.  I may be mistaken, but I believe the last time I was at Pier A Park was a blind meet-up with a dude that was buying my spare for Field Day Fest back in 2003.  Which was the first time I saw MMJ live.  Interesting...

Bummed that many of you local superfans will be at NFF instead, but know that whatever gang we pull together for this show - it'll be fun times as always

Hey Liz!  Glad to hear from you.  I'm not likely going to any of these, so don't feel bad about only one.  I will be at NFF, however.  I hope we cross paths sometime in '13!

Came to post that eBay has already posted tix for AmericanaramA the day before the earliest presale!  WTF!

For the Shoreline show - and that presale isn't until next week!

Probably going to hit up the Camden show. Don't have to worry about roofies there, just a good old fashioned carjacking.
