Just joined up here and huge MMJ fan...but have a question:

MMJ is playing in Tampa at the amphitheater towards the end of this month in a concert titled "Americana- Festival of Music". I don't know if this is an event for the area or if it is along their tour, but...how much should I expect to see MMJ and Yames?

Bob Dylan & Wilco seem to be the other big acts at the show and while I have no ill will towards them, I would be buying to see MMJ.

Would I be disappointed with their stage time?

Thanks for opinions!

There's a huge thread going in this section atm discussing this matter.  The truth is, no one really knows what to expect.  However, people have quoted Jeff Tweedy saying that both bands will collaborate with Dylan during Dylan's show.  We are expected 1 hour to 1.5 hours from each band.  This is unsettling since MMJ and Wilco both can play for nearly 4 hours each.  Go to the show excited to see rare collaborations, but understanding that MMJ might not play very many rarities, or very long for that matter.

Welcome to the board!
