Ripple w/ weir is enough for me. Stoked
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

grizzy

Whoa...Ripple might be my favorite Dead song. I'll be stoked to get it tomorrow night (good chance if they're still working things out...maybe not too much spontaneity). I REALLY want California Stars too.

scosby2

California stars in the cool Tennessee evening at bonnaroo was my highlight I the wilco set

Made for a real weird transition....did not work.
Crowd was pumped...then went "huh"

I can imagine.  "Funky Improv Jam" is the only thing that should ever follow Evelyn.

Awesome check on PC1 whippy - I listen to that Evelyn almost every day and have been praying for some iteration of that funky improv jam to make it into the new album
What's in here won't disappear

I'll say I'm more than pleased with what I've read here about MMJ and Wilco's sets.  Looking forward to seeing the tour next month.
Don't you ever turn it off

I'm trying to avoid MMJ's set. I saw they came on around 6:15 but can someone clue me in on when they went off and what time Wilco played...please.

Haldon posted MMJ done at 7:31,  12-13 songs.
My heart pumps away for your loving touch, My Sweet Juls. You know I never, I Never Could Get Enough

Ripple was great.

Dylan sounds a little rough

Mona Lisa must'a had the highway blues, you can tell by the way she smiles.

company in my back and sad and lonely aren't exactly every show songs so hope that we will get some mixture of songs from both bands. Looks like dylan is a bust but we expected that.. This is a MMJ forum I know that but can someone answer the question whether spiders was acoustic or the original version?

At least he didn't get thrown out this time. Progress.

Scosby, you weren't the only one around you at PC who knew all the words to Evelyn, but you were the first one to recognize that they were going to play it!

Whippersnapper- I concur with your love of the Evelyn >>Funky Improv Jam mandate.

scosby2

I wasn't talking about PC...I know all of you die-hard people around me knew it...in Philly when they did Into the woods>Evelyn I was definitely the only person besides Trish and Bob within 50 people that knew those songs existed...

All the setlists in one place (sans Weir)

Lol at the tweet after Dylan's set.

That was pretty damn funny. Though the end of Dylans set sounds awesome (tangled up in blue - encore)

Call me crazy, but the start sounds kinda awesome too! Both "Things Have Changed" and "Love Sick" are two of the best songs he's written in the last few decades. Bob's comin' out swingin'!

my wife walked down the aisle to Ripple when we got married. Stoked to see that. I'd love to see Weir with MMJ too. I'm ready for them to really expand their covers. I'm thinking Estimated Prophet or West LA Fadeaway might be best. Especially since they're, you know, actual Bobby songs.

Thanks for the real-time updates from the show! Getting excited for Saturday!!!

It was the acoustic version.
