So Gideon was ridiculous. They had a touch me pt 2 intro sound to it and during the end jam. The end jam was the longest I've heard it. Damn good.

Steam had Carl on sax at the end and then isn't it a pity fade. Crowd went nuts when wilco came out.

VD had Jim on sax at the end again, definitely my favorite version of the song.

The venue is fuller than last night and the crowd is better.

Sounds great.

I was thinking I'd kill to hear them play Oh! Sweet Nuthin' on this tour with some guests. That version from Red Rocks last year is absurd.

Favorite setlist so far this tour.   Xmas, master, steam and cover with wilco.   Awesome.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I hope there's less Gideon and Wordless and more I Will Song You Songs and Highly Suspicious by the time they reach Saratoga

I'll second that it was the best version of Gideon I've ever seen. More guitars were initially on deck and then pulled, curious to know what was scrapped. They absolutely brought down the house, w/ everyone in the crowd standing & rockin. Wilco played a great set as well, but interestingly enough the pit emptied out during their set only to fill back up for Dylan. Great vibe at these shows and super quick set changes- reminded me a bit of Bridge. Can't wait for round 2 at Shoreline!

Wow, I hope some video surfaces of that performance. That song is my all time favorite George song, I'd kill to hear it!

I'm going to have to disagree with the whole people aren't allowed to snap pictures or record thing. Not because I have to see recorded footage or anything, but because during all of Wilco the staff kept walking around us and interrupting the show by telling people to put their phones away. It was distracting. There was at least 5 different incidents around me where the workers had to make people conceal their phones. This usually resulted in an awkward and confused response from the person with the phone. It's one thing to stop people from bringing in nice camcorders, but it's another to not allow iPhones.

So it's a bad policy because people won't adhere to it?  Maybe if people would listen to the policy info and follow it, instead of ignoring it or think  it doesn't apply to them, then security wouldn't have to be constantly enforcing it and be a distraction.

I think maybe you're frustrations are misplaced. If I'm following the policy, and the guy next to me isn't, and security is around us telling him to stop, I'm pissed at HIM, not the policy or security doing their jobs.

The no IPhone thing is part of the policy, and probably a big reason why the policy is in place, IMO. So many people have them, IT has become a huge distraction at shows. Personally I applaud Dylan for trying to do away with the nuisance they've become, but I also get that not everyone feels the same. I just hope the people next to me respect the policy, don't think they're above it, and keep their phones in their pockets.
