I'm watching it again right now. I just wish I knew how to record it. I got lucky with the ACL taping when it was live streamed. It could be recorded with Realplayer Downloader, but this one is different.

IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE WHO CAN CAPTURE THIS PERFORMANCE AND PUT IT UP ON THE FORUM LATER?!? IT IS STILL AVAILABLE IF YOU MISSED IT BY REWINDING THE WHOLE DAY AT NEWPORT. PLEASE, SOMEBODY RECORD THIS FOR US!
NPR recorded everything so it will probably be available in the archives soon.

I enjoyed watching Father John Misty after Jim's set. I think he'd be cool opening for MMJ.

Fully

Yeah, it will be up in their archives. If I remember from last year, it's rather difficult to record their stuff but it will eventually show up somewhere. I seem to have the recording of last years performance.

Nice pic of Jim staring at the stage (ducks before shoes get thrown at me by any of the peeps who went to NFF).

I didn't have time or interweb to watch the whole Jim set.  Now, it seems to not be archived.  Anyone know the setlist?

No, but I can give a pretty good guess. The Right Place and Changing World were at the end. I was cooking so I was a little distracted.

Apparently there is no giffin on an iPhone.

The album in order minus Exploding and God's Love to Deliver, then Right Place and Changing World
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

I wish he had done that at the museum, but that's another story.

I understand, NN. If I had been there, I probably would have felt the same. Sometimes even musicians who have toured all year and are trying to cram two different tours into one summer try to do something they think is funny, but just ends up upsetting people. I'm not doing all that and about 90%of my jokes fall flat particularly at home. I think if he had done that somewhere like Bonnaroo which has more of a sideshow atmosphere than somewhere like NFF where the reverence for the music is sacred then it might not have bothered people so much. But I totally get that not only did it fall flat, the staring contest made his fans feel like they were foolish for having gone instead of seeing another act. Everybody screws up sometimes.

Northern Neighbour

Agreed, Fully.  I also think JJ and Chris Funk completely screwed up with time.  There likely was something else afterwards, but they just forgot / ****** up big time.  Oh well, it's over.  Time to move on.
