It's funny, after living in downtown Madison for five years, never more than four blocks from the Majestic, I moved out to Monona in May and now this finally happens.. this, and the Alterra (now Collectivo) coffee house opening up.  But Megan and I are planning on biking down before the show for drinks, all that.  It's going to be a magical night.

One thing, i have only been a fan since 2008 so I didn't think Jim or the guys had ever been here before.  But with the rebirth of the archives, i was able to look into it.  Turns out they have been here multiple times but it has been quite a while..

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I've been this close to going three times lately.  Just can't do it.  Have a blast.

Spot on review, and the young lady before him really wowed the crowd!  I'm glad I went even though I had to go alone.  Thanks to the young couple that let me put my water on their table.
No thanks to the yahoo in front of me who kept on swaying around.  Dude, seriously?  Would it have killed you to move about 3 feet to your right to give me enough room to breathe?  You  obviously had enough room!

Haha, that was you?!  No problem!  Wish I had known you were from the forum at the time.  Maybe in the future i'll be less shy about pre show meetups so we can all hang out..

Stevie

Also, thanks to the person who let me move my table more to the center before the show.  Sorry, I forgot your name but it was good talking Jacket with ya!

That was me Stevie.   It was nice hangin with you guys.  Good show.  My ears are still ringing and my balls are still tingling from that heavy bass thumpin. I bailed up to the balcony for a different angle of the show right before the encore. Sorry Patti if I was the Yahoo  in your way, I was trying to hold some real estate for some peeps.   My buddy backed out a few days before the show and I  couldn't give the ticket away. Sunday night shows are tough.  I ended going up solo also.

No Tater, I don't think it was you.  I think I have seen you before, but not sure.  What do you look like?
However, if it was you, then I would not consider you a yahoo, I would have joined you!

It seems we talk about meeting up before shows, but it never happens.  I was lucky to get to this one on time.  Talk about funny things.  I mapped it, but asked Siri for directions to the Majestic Theatre and originlly she gave me directions to a movie theatre - Marcus Majestic. Thankfully, last minute, I checked and found out I had another 60 miles or so.  I'm glad I made it for the opening act.  The girl was good wasn't she?
Anyway, glad I went.  Very positive energy, but a long drive home back to Wildwood, IL so I couldn't stay after.  I was hoping to get Jim to sign my pick that I got from the first Nashville show back in February.

Patti I was wearing a black button down shirt,  salt and pepper hair ( more salt than pepper ) and a beard.  I was standing right in between  2  tables on the first landing.  I was probably the oldest person there.  At least thats what I  felt like.

Haha I was standing just below you on the floor.  I was wearing a bright tie dyed shirt with a guitar and hearts and black framed glasses.   I also believe I was the oldest person there

Thankfully, you were not the guy I was complaining about.  I think that I saw you at the Chicago show?  You know Mama Kel?  She was with us and I remember seeing you now that you describe yourself.  We should meet up next show!!!

I do know MK, I met here at the last Jim show at the Vic.   We will make a meet up happen. I'm sure our paths have crossed at some point.
