so sorry i missed this!  tough to believe i missed you AND tubetop.  i did see bay area brendan from SF during one break. 

i had a strange week and getting to the show on saturday was *cough* unexpectedly challenging (insert the ever-promised notes-to-come reference here).  so, as i sit at home in my bed ready to call it a night i will say this of the weekend:  brilliant, beautiful, astounding.
and that "Oh Sweet Nuthin." holy moses.

icing on the cake:  elvis costello was on my flight this morning.

WOWZA! that oh sweet nuthin' beautiful!!! so great to watch Elvis watching Neil and Jim! There is this great interview of Lou that Elvis did on his show Spectacle. It on Netflix.

Awesome that Elvis was on your flight!  I watched the early events going on and one of the coordinators said that they always book "coach" tickets for the bands and that no one ever complains!
Wish I could have been there, but how special it was to be able to watch many good songs live streamed...........Thanks Bridge School.

Miss Y ...how's about next time we get each others numbers and text before we get there!  Tubetop and Jaye both had a difficult time getting in on Sat as well.  Next time we will find each other for sure.  So glad you got to see the Oh! Sweet Nuthin.  IMO it's one of the best songs MMJ has in their repertoire and always a gem to see live.  RIP Lou!!

Unfortunately, this one is still on my bucket list of songs to see MMJ perform live?!  I was hoping I would've been able to cross it off at their run at the Capitol, but sadly it didn't get played any of those 3 nights...

Another Sweet Nuthin' video surfaced - side view, decent sound most of the time.  What I like about this one is that you can see Carl who got cut off for the most part on the other videos I've seen - he played a mean slide throughout.  But poor Bo is completely hidden behind the organ in the foreground.
