I mean it is the most magical time. It's almost like the Gods planned it that way, so it's christmas and then you get like a full week and stuff. Where have I heard that before?

Anyway, I'd appreciate if the band took the time to consider my schedule in planning any winter dates since I have a son now and need to be sort of responsible.

So, Bridge Benefit then Mexico?
MMJ Shows 2005-2022 [30]

No. Bridge School benefit > record new album > One Big Holiday. It'll be time well spent. Maybe they'll sneak in a holiday show in NYC or Louisville. Pure speculation.

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I'd like to see BS -> record new album -> 3 nights at Beacon Theater (no repeats, test out new material) -> OBH.

Also, what are peoples thoughts on a Monsters of Folk tour in 2014?

From what i've heard, a MoF tour/new stuff is possible in the future, but i think 2014 is gonna be a MMJ year.

I hope so but I could see them recording some stuff but won't do any shows, or very few, in 2014.  They have a track record of going on a brief hiatus after a long 1-2 years of promoting their latest album.

I would be shocked if they recorded and then a. Didnt release an album and b. Given the album release, did not tour extensively behind it.  Americanarama took the place of their hiatus so I just dont think they will be taking one of significant length.

My big hope is that the new album is ready in time for a headline slot at Bonnnaroo.

I literally had the end-of-the-year runs in 2012 at PC and Boston.  I hope there isn't a repeat performance this year.

I still feel horrible for you and your wife for how horrible that trip was for the two of you.

I had beginning of the year runs after getting my gallbladder removed. Glad it didn't happen during the PC end of year runs.

Don't be.  Sh** happens (and it happened a lot those few days).

See for the past few years, when the leaves change I get spoiled. And it's gotten to the point that something seems amiss when I don't have the anticipation of the opening song, the dreadful wait to see if I have tickets, the planning with people, and the hope that maybe - just maybe - i might actually make it to a pre-show meet up.

chode I'm pretty sure that you've been conversing with this group for years longer than I have and I've yet to see you at.... anywhere.

I have seen that cute ass dog of yours on instagram a lot though

I was photographed at T5. I also was spotted in Lville at the meet up. Plus I hung out with a bunch of assholes in VIP at forecastle.

That is the extent of it though. And it's not for lack of trying. One year I left to go to a meetup and found my car surrounded by fire trucks. Other times it's just been chodey.
