Wow, totally forgot about that one.  I would definitely put that in my honorable mentions, which I guess bumps the purple one off the list.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

Glad to hear they are good live.  Seems like they have serious potential as a live act based on how great the record is.

Ruckus

Great stuff guys!

1.  Wolf People - Ortlieb's, Philly - all the other shows from this year combined don't touch this one.  Simply amazing!  Alone it was perfect.  To share with Fully, Crispy, jrud, and my wife made it over the top!

2.  Arbouretum - Klub 007 - Prague
3.  J Roddy - Rams Head - Baltimore
4.  Deer Tick - Ottobar - Baltimore
5.  Rush - Baltimore Arena
6.  Judge Mental - Liam Flynn's - Baltimore - must have been my buzz but I'd never laughed so hard even a stand up act, which I guess he is as much as a musical performer.
7.  Pelican - DC9 - DC
8.  Futurebirds - Ortlieb's - Philly - the show itself was just OK but hanging with the band was great!
9.  Kylesa - Rock n Roll Hotel - DC - I just love them live.
10.Dino Jr. - Ottobar - Baltimore - to see legends in such a small place with great sound.

4.  Deer Tick - Ottobar - Baltimore

It's a testament to what a great year of live music this was that this Deer Tick show didn't crack my list.  Probably my favorite time ever seeing them, and so fun to get to share it with you, Ms. Ruckus, and Manonthemoon.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

i enjoyed them, they played in a nightclub though, which wi wasn't too thrilled at first but it worked well.

Jagwar Ma- Uncertainty@ Voyeur in philly

1.Jim James & Carl Broemel - The Basement

Other memorable shows, in no particular order.

String Cheese Incident - The Louisville Palace (Forecastle late night)

String Cheese Incident - Forecastle
JJ - Forecastle (only for Let It Be)
Dr. Dog - Headliners, Louisville
WSP - The Palace (night 1), Louisville. Really don't like Panic, but this show was great.
I guess the other MMJ/JJ/Wilco shows I saw this year also.

Although I wasn't a big fan of the JJ shows after seeing it the first time, the first time was one of the most special shows I've ever seen.
All in all, I totally slept on going to shows in the 2nd half of the year. Oops.

e_wind, the fact that you didn't get to make it to a Pearl Jam show in 2013 is all kinds of wrong.

Tell me about it. They didn't come anywhere near close and money was tight around that time because the bar I was working at unexpectedly closed.
