Underground 70s-80s cult heroes from Hamilton, Ontario, made waves a few years ago when Pitchfork "rediscovered" them. Think VU meets Stooges and Floyd. Fucking cool band (they've resurfaced in recent years). FYI, Simply Saucer's breakthrough, Cyborgs Revisited, was co-produced by a young Daniel Lanois. This song fucking ROCKS!!!

Simply Saucer-Illegal Bodies

I've got some stuff I can send you. I'll post later after I've sorted through and found it.

some get stoned, some get strange, sooner or later it all gets real.

This band Follakzoid's album II is probably my favorite psychedelic album.  I couldn't find the full album on YouTube, but this song off it is great.

Hard to pick out individual songs, but Bad Liquor Pond is a band more people should know about.

Saw Night Beats at the Soda Bar in San Diego on Friday night.

The best way to describe them would be speed psyche

Musacsnob, thanks for the Night Beats suggestion. I did a little write up on them today:
