That is true, but but according to Yahoo weather, today the sun rises at 6:30 and sets at 5:30. Only 11 hours of sun sure cuts down on that risk. But I got my reef friendly sunscreen anyway.

Loving what everone is saying and thanks for those going that will keep us in their thoughts.
I guess the night of the first show in Mexico, I'll hang with my jacket friends if possible, pull out my 6 string, or maybe my vintage 1970's takamine classical  (not my 12 string)  and play Steam Engine and Wonderful being that they are the songs I'm practicing of late and make some margharita's!
Yes - we are jealous - dang..........But truly happy for those of going.

Remember it only takes on bad sunburn to put you at high risk for skin cancer.  Melanoma is not good..........believe me.

Recordings will be made available for those who attend One Big Holiday.  I'm not sure if they'll be officially made available through the LiveDownloads site for those of us who couldn't go, but I'm sure we'll find a way to hear what we missed. 

As much as I'd love a live stream from someone with a good phone and UStream (like I did for those who didn't have AXSTV for Red Rocks last year), I don't want anyone getting caught and tossed, so try to keep the phones away and BE IN THE MOMENT!  As much as I'd like a ton of videos, pictures, and bootleg audio, I'd rather everyone spend all of their time using their eyes and ears, not staring through a viewfinder or phone screen. 

Seth, please ask Ryan for setlists for me (you can keep 'em; just send me a photo of each night to post here).  Extra points for anyone who wants to remind the boys that they owe Iowa City a show after having to cut their 2008 stop short, due to Jim's fall.  My backyard will hold a small acoustic set and maybe 50 people... 

Pace yourselves, check in when you can, don't get arrested, and make this so awesome that it'll happen again... when I CAN go!

Johnny - always the thoughtful person and such a Dad!  I agree.  Have fun, be in the moment.  Take it all in thru your ears, eyes and soul.  And if it's not a problem send or post anything that you can.
