Outrageous! I bet it's the old catcher-turned-second baseman bias.

Eh, not sure Id really consider Biggio a HOFer, but he was close enough in voting this year to all but guarantee he'll get in eventually. Seems like him getting in is because all of the known PED guys are being kept out.

Id say Bagwell should be in before Biggio.

It's a joke that Jack Morris, one of the most dominant pitchers of his era, isn't a HoFer. Pathetic.

He's still going with the suit in court to stop the entire thing, should be interesting since this is reportedly his first offense and Braun got less with multiple offenses.  I think the MLB is just trying to do the Yanks a favor by getting them out of a year of paying that contract as there are tons of cheaters still playing in today's game.

MLB as an organization is so rotten.  their politicking and side-stepping to keep from looking culpable really burns my bacon.

you do not want to burn my bacon.

MLB, you are warned.

Great ending to a great series last night.  Phish just happened to be rocking the Bill Graham Civic in SF last night, which, for those who have never been there, the venue is right on the Civic Center Plaza where the City of SF had put up the giant screens and was filled with Giants fans watching on the street.

Right about the 3:30 mark of Moma Dance last night, the Giants record the final out and win the series, Phish transitions into 'We are the Champions' then back into Moma Dance.  Good stuff...

fantastic!  there were a few baseball fans in the office - pirates, royals, dodgers, giants - which made the playoffs fun.

last summer when spanish gold was touring in CA i saw them in LA then got up at 6am the next morning to drive to SF to see a 1pm giants game.  it turned out to be tim lincecum's 2nd no-hitter!  :cheesy:  i'd never seen a NH in person.
in the 6th inning we all started to realize what was happening.  in response to the weather getting cooler the young guy next to me started to put on a sweatshirt.  his dad said, "you can't put that on now."
i love baseball.
