Sometimes when I get in my zone, you'd think I was stoned, but I never as they say, touched the stuf

I dig the new single, thanks for sharing!  I love Modest Mouse, but I'm afraid nothing can top Lonesome Crowded West for me.  Can't wait to hear the new album though.

Jambase posted this today. Some dude put together a sampling of songs from the new album that they have already played live.

Love the new song as well. Would be great to see both of them live together.

MM announced tour yesterday as well. 2 shows in New York in March, and then back again in July!! 3/19 is my sons Birthday... Great way to spend a little father son time!!!
After hearing 5 of the new songs off the new album, it's got me really pumped for these shows. It's been wayyyy too long!

anyone hear the album yet?

I've always been a casual Modest Mouse fan.  I was never super into their stuff but enjoyed them from time to time.  That being said, I've listened to this album probably a dozen times in the past week.  I'm totally hooked.

Nothing will be like their earlier stuff. But I guess that goes with any band...
I'm definitely diggin this album more than the last two.

After a couple listens, I just can't get into it, other than a couple songs. The few songs that don't sound just like rote Modest Mouse just sound like they're trying to be different just to be different. One of my favorite bands ever, but their years of making new music that I like might be over. Glad other people are liking it though. I'll continue to give it some listens.

My thoughts exactly.  What made Modest Mouse such an interesting band in the past was mostly the songwriting, and that's what Im just not hearing on this record.

I like it, not great but pretty damn good.  Really digging The Ground Walks

Some hits and some in my opinion on the new album.  But The Ground Walks with Time in a Box is amazing!  I'd see them this tour for just that one song alone.
