I hope everyone enjoyed their time with family, be it for Christmas or whatever. 

In the spirit of the season, I have exercised my moderator-ness and axed the thread on drugs in Mexico.  Do your dealin' off-line.

I haven't been on the forum much, lately, for reasons most of you understand.  Still, that thread reminded me of the garbage that sent a lot of good people packing. 

I believe in free speech, but (unless I'm told otherwise by the band or their management) I will delete any thread that asks for MMJ freebies that are commercially available or any discussion of obtaining drugs.  Talk about enjoying music while high all you want.  If you're looking for Mary or Molly or anyone else, do it elsewhere.

Please feel free to PM me anytime you want to discuss my position on this, or feel free to comment below.  But please try to keep it respectful.  I believe in the golden rule and feel I am respectful of any and all who invest time in this forum.

As a Mary supporter, I disagree with what happened and believe that those inciting the ruckus should be responsible. The whole thread was taken "over the top" by the same user that started the thread, and the same user that insulted their fellow forum member. While I believe that this type of discussion should be handled off forum, I do believe the issue at hand was fueled by the original posters comments and posts, which were irresponsible and immature.

I say this hoping that we can all have fun in Mexico again. Like many, I truly believe it was the like minded people at OBH1 that was the real high.

Hmmmm. Maybe if you had kept the discussion off the forum where it belongs, and never started the thread, there wouldn't have been anything to overreact to, name call, or threaten?

I hardly regret starting the thread as it achieved what I wanted it to for me. I regret that a few boneheads here had to take it in another direction. The Jacket and Mary go hand in hand. Always have and always will.

I personally know people who are going to OBH and won't be "partying" at all.  Yeah even though the booze is free...none of that.  The music should be enough to get anyone "high".  Just my opinion and I don't know what "Molly" means anyway. 
Besides, I have had enough relatives threatened in the past with Jail in Mexico, that I would not want to even chance it.

Well  then as evidenced by your deleted  thread you obviously don't have much respect for the quality of this forum, or the people here, and your apology to Johnny earlier in this thread was clearly bullshit. Either you're sorry or don't regret starting the thread. Which one is it? Don't bother  answering because I think we all know already. You got what you wanted out of it,and have continued with the name calling.

Too bad it's not true. You've clarified nothing except talking out of both sides of your mouth. I stand by my take that your apology on starting the thread is bullshit. Here's the thing,  his post "accomplished what it was intended to do"  which was troll the shit out of this place. Either you are responding to someone with limited mental faculties or someone who pops a boner at getting a rise out of people. He's been at this with a vengeance for quite awhile. Just ignore him.
