Also, the weather is looking better than the outlook at the beginning of the week!  Trying to decide if I should wear my rain boots anyway......mud potential could be high.

do you folks think it will be easy to buy a single friday night ticket outside of the venue?  looks like it is sold out now.

adam_pliskow

It's NYC, there will be scalpers and concert goer's trying to sell extras.  You'll probably get in for under face.  At a worst case scenario you can just listen by the ticket gate.  Its a big open field with very large speakers.  The music will carry.

where'd you net out on this? I wore tennis shoes this morning, but I'm sitting here at work having some mean second thoughts on the subject...

ProTip: Taking the subway to 125th Street and walking over the bridge is the best way to get there. I did three nights of Phish last summer at Randall's and the subway route was smooth/ no waits/ no lines/ cheap... plus ferry, bus, cab lines can be aggressive.

they sounded so good.

they did an autograph session earlier in the day. i waited in line and had them sign my hat. i asked jim if he was bummed that he was going to miss drake (he was playing the same time as mmj) and jim laughed. he said he hopes people show up their set. told him i dont think that should be a problem. everybody was super nice.

had a great time yesterday. st. vincent is insane live.
