I would take 2nights at red rocks over 3 nights anywhere, but 1 night is questionable. I hope to do 1 night of red rocks and 3 nights of SF
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

selfishly glad to hear the late summer, fall is targeted for larger tour since I can't hit any spring/summer shows.
Don't you ever turn it off

Was hoping for a multi night run in RR, but 3 days in SF might do as well.  Hoping for the MD/Philly run as well Eric, was hoping to add in a few shows as I don't usually do festivals.

I'm with you man. I'm not a fan of festivals either. Forecastle, and Mountain Jam were the exceptions for me.

I might hit up one ( Boston?) for an MMJ day to get my fix if it looks like they won't be doing their own shows til late Summer/Fall. Once they release their plans, I'll make mine. Most likely it'll be the ones closest to me (Philly/MD/NYC) with an eye on the multi night runs. SF sounds great to me.  I had a real good time there when I saw them at Bill Graham Civic Center. Great city that I've wanted to go back to ever since.

Eric! You gonna let me crash on the floor in your room at the Fairmont?

Haha. Man that place was the best! It spoiled me forever. The night of the show we were going for dinner first, and going to get a cab, but the bellman says no way. We have a car service that'll take you! I'm not sure I can go to SF, and not stay there. LOL. It's like they go hand in hand for me now.  Gonna have to work some serious OT between now, and then, but yeah you're always welcome to crash.

If there were any venue in the country that i would drive 15 hours to see one show at, it would be Red Rocks.  Everything about the experience is perfect.  However.. man i just don't know.  If that's true, which i would be baffled by, i'll have to make the decision when i see the rest of the tour.

Fairmont party! Eric get's the best room there! 3 nights in a much better venue than Bill Graham will be great! If they pull a 3 night Wiltern before or after in LA I will be in heaven!

Yes you will, and I'm with you on the better venue part too.

I'm lovin this talk of multi night runs. I sure hope the rumors of them turn out to be true.

I don't have any info otherwise but I would think the Warfield would be unlikely. APE entertainment has a history with the band and books The Fox, Bill Graham Civic & The Greek. I would think a multi night run would involve one of those venues. Regardless, I'm happy to hear any and all rumors involving SF

It's at the fox.

That would be great, and I'd love for that to be true but I've heard it's someplace else in SF not Oakland.

Who knows for sure though? Just gonna have to wait and see. Either way, let's get some tour dates out there!!

You're right. I remembered incorrectly. It's at the Masonic.

How about 12 nights at the Great American. Heard it here first, folks.

Followed by 12 more at Slim's.

I got a chance to speak with Tim Showalter from Strand of Oaks last night. He told me that he was hanging out with Jim in Louisville while they were rehearsing for OBH and he expects MMJ and Strand of Oaks to play a bunch of shows together this year. I for one would be all for that. They put on a show last night that was so much better than anything I expected. Absolutely crushed it and Id want to see them again as soon as I could
