Name the order in which you most excited to least excited bands to see

MMJ (obv)
WOD
Dawes
Band of Horses
Dr Dog
PHJB
Sylvan Esso

Derek713

MMJ
Dr. Dog
Dawes
WOD
Band of Horses
Sylvan Esso
PHJB

Dawes were at the bottom of my list when the lineup came out, but they have really grown on me over the past few months. I am really excited to see them, and I am kicking myself for skipping them when they were in town.

pattilovesmmj

sherpahigh

None of these bands ever tour anywhere near me, so these will all be my first time seeing any of them, even MMJ, so I'm pumped!

Wow! Heck of a first MMJ show!

LBSUNFLWR

I'm surprised by the lack of love for Band of Horses. Have you heard their first two albums?

I am not going, but if I were it'd be:

MMJ
BOH
Dawes
War on Drugs
PHJB
Sylvan Esso (don't know who they are)
Dr. Dog

I'd be equally excited for Dawes and War on Drugs, but I have seen War on Drugs and never seen Dawes so I'd give them the bump.

Hope everyone has the best time. Looking forward to reading all the reviews..

Band of horses

This is the correct answer. Maybe add about 10 more spaces between PHJB and Dawes, and the same in-between Dawes and BoH.

Just today I've started feeling really bummed that I decided not to go this year. Everyone enjoy THE DOG for me. They're miles ahead of everyone else on the list other than MMJ.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

I'm guessing you've never seen War On Drugs. Either way, there is no "correct answer"

BigHerm

Dr. Dog and WoD is a toss up for me, but seen Dr. Dog quite few times and haven't seen WoD yet.

No matter the order, the line up is very good.

no biz markie love here?

I got Biz Markie on my list.  I put the Patrick & David Givan DJ set above him (only slightly though) because that shit was so much fun last year.

yeah thats what umphrees mcgees fans say too

I don't really have a horse in this race, as I'm unfortunately locked firmly in North America during OBH, but I'd be almost as excited for Dr. Dog as MMJ. Not only have they been busting out some super rare tunes lately, but they're just plain FUN!

War On Drugs are fantastic, but they get locked in to their metronomic grooves and wail away with nary a smile. Dawes and BOH do their thing which we're all very familiar with at this point. But the Dog bounce around up there like they're a bunch of teenagers playing their first show! You can't help but smile and dance. Goddamn I wish I could be there.
