Is there some sort of "trick" to downloading from Rapid Share?* I downloaded 1 song, had to wait 7 minutes to get the 2nd, and now have to wait 16 to get the 3rd...at this rate, I'll be waiting hours between the last few songs...I don't recall that I reached my "download limit" so soon when I used it in the past. Any advice/suggestions would be great!

*Yes, I know you can pay and download with no delay.

(Edit: OK, it's only asking me to wait about 12-13 minutes on the last few songs. Not as bad as I feared.)

yeah, you just have to have a little patience. The only "trick" I know of is to pay them money to get unlimited downloads. I'd just wait the 12 minutes though

Thanks, aMD. I was just getting freaked out (unnecessarily, of course) when it went from 6 to 12 to 19 minutes on the first few downloads. I thought the wait would keep increasing every time! Luckily, it didn't, and I got half the set last night, and I'm getting the rest now.

another trick, if you're on a laptop or connect wirelessly...
I downloaded a track, then swapped to a neighbors network and downloaded another track, and so on...
There's 2 other unsecured networks I can hope on in my hood so by the time I got around to mine, I could download the next track... just a thought.

Don't worry about my toes, brother. It's just easiest for me to use rapidshare with single tracks, but it's probably easier for everyone else to have a single zip file.
