I can't take it anymore.. I need some real tour dates announced. I am holding up my travel plans to visit family in various parts of the country based on when Jacket will roll through. I figure if I'm gonna travel I may as well throw in a Jacket show.
Mona Lisa must'a had the highway blues, you can tell by the way she smiles.

Definitely some Basement Tapes songs at this show with Mumford and Dawes on the bill.  I hope this is a reasonable drive for you Yac.

I'm doing the exact thing you are doing justbcuzido and vespa....... travel plans in a holding pattern.

Its a 97 minute drive! However...

"Tickets for the Gentlemen of the Road Stopover in Waverly, Iowa go on sale Friday, March 6th at 10AM EST exclusively at gentlemenoftheroad.com/stopovers. Tickets are $199 with no additional services charges or fees. Only two-day passes are available. On-site camping within walking distance of the main stage for the full weekend is free with registration. We highly encourage you to camp with us to enjoy the full Stopover experience."

Tickets are $199 (I paid $140 for a 3-day Forecastle pass).  I can drive home each night, so I don't need the "free" camping.  I might have to pass on this one, and save up for a couple of headlining show nearby.  I was expecting to get a one-day ticket, and if MMJ were Friday night, to pay less than $100.

Who am I kidding? I'll probably change my mind...

I also thought about the potential for some New Basement Tapes tunes during each of those sets.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I am driving down Friday morning (from Minneapolis), have a place to stay for free 10 minutes from the venue (My hometown is 20 miles south--Cedar Falls) and I have to drive back on Saturday morning for Rock the Garden in Minneapolis. I would like a one-day pass option, as well. Ugh!

I'm from Mpls as well and was also wishing there was a single day option for Waverly.  I was thinking MMJ might headline Rock the Garden since they will be in this neck of the woods.

3.5 hour drive for me.  Its really going to depend on the other shows they play in the area.  You would think 2 of Milwaukee, Chicago, Minneapolis are going to happen and probabaly around this time.  Bodes well for my theory that this will be much like the circuital tour which also began in the midwest in mid june.
