Jacket set time roughly 8:40-11:00?

My flight isn't even scheduled to land until 7:15. Hopefully delays won't be too long, and the theatre will let me check my backpack so I can go right from the airport to the show.

840-1105 yep

Do you still need a ticket? Maybe I can leave my extra at will call and we can settle up inside? Let me know. It's 4th row Carl's side.

Wow!!!! Wow!!!! Wow!!!!
What a show last night. When they played The Dark I knew we were in for quite a treat. Our pals served up quite the treat all night long. The highlights for me included the already mentioned The Dark, Master Plan (the extended jam reaffirmed my unconditional love for the band), Outta My System, Off the Record (the energy from the crowd seemed to peak), and Run Thru.
The lighting rig for this tour......WTF???? I felt like I was tripping during Off the Record without consuming any drugs or alcohol the entire night.

Enjoy night 2 y'all.

Off the Record being the song that finally made people in the balcony stand up.

I think this is a pretty good indicator of the overall energy for most of the show. The first two thirds were so slow and low-key, and we were getting bored up there. If they had played Off the Record, I'm Amazed or Run Thru earlier in the set, we would have been standing up much sooner.

All,

So where and when is the silent auction tonight? I had heard Monk's, but haven't seen much posted in it since.

Ok have to share this story. I'm not at these shows but have a good buddy who is. He also went to Governor's Ball and talked to Patrick and Jim at the autograph session there. According to him here's how the exchange went down:

Friend: Patrick please don't give us a half ass Run Thru in Chicago.
Patrick: Half-ass?
Friend: You know what I mean, half a song.
Patrick: Talk to this guy (motioning to Jim)
Jim: Don't worry I'll take care of you.

Solast night I get a call back in NY where I'm sleeping at like 12:30 and my buddy is like, "Guess what we got to end the show?" I knew it was a full Run Thru. My friend also said he got a setlist and it had Phone listed after Run Thru. He swears the conversation impacted the set. Don't know if anyone can confirm the setlist thing.

They flipped the last 2 songs. And added Stir It Up.

Hahahaha, i cant believe anyone would be disappointed by the earlier part of the setlist.  I was so happy with it i just kept saying to Megan, "Im so happy right now!!"

To me the first half of the setlist was an indication that they know they have a large contingent of die hard fans and i think sitting downor standing up it was still amazing. I mean you got the high energy going later on and they blew the roof off so mission accomplished.

That was the best show ive seen since red rocks 2012 and ive been to all the big ones outsjde of the wiltern run.

To top it off, a guy on a bicycle pedaled us back to the hotel room while blasting the waterfall through his rigged up speakers, he had the album playing when we walked out of the theater already so naturally that was our only option..

What a night, cant believe we get two more.  Gonna get weird tonight i bet ;)

sneaky good point for Nights 2/3: they already played I'm Amazed, First Light, & Outta My System.

They almost played "First light" TWICE :)
They beginning of X-Mas curtain was an "oops we just played first light"

But, HOLY SHIT, was that a good show!!!

Glad to have that info bout the 3 min"Stir it up". For a set with perfect flow it seemed short and kinda forced.

Aside from that, THAT was a perfect Tues (1st night of a 3 night run) show. Great setlist, perfect, effortless, mellowish(in a really good way). Just a fuggin GREAT SHOW!
Can't wait to see what happens next 2 nights :)  AND can't wait to see the "complete" poster!?
I'm imagining a Burwell meets Picasso meets the TV show "The Electric Co.", for a big 70's Chicago GUERNICA

Is there a place to get live setlist updates?

The setlist is on this thread. Just go back a page or two. And some forum members are nice enough to post updates as the show is happening. I think everyone was "IN IT" last night. I could barely type the setlist myself, let alone post :)
FUGGIN GREAT SHOW!!!

The first thing that popped into my head was Dave Mustaine singing country- but as far as openers, no complaints.

Still waiting

Anyone looking to swap mezzanine seats for seats on the floor for tomorrow night's show?  We have two 7th row seats in 3R that we want to swap for mezzanine seats.
We used our floor seats last night and the have a great view.  Just getting too old to stand for 3 hours.

Found out lost a friend/fellow MMJ fan earlier today.  Hearing people are tweeting at the band to play the song "I will be there when you die" in his honor.

Hadn't seen him in over a year.  He was able to attend OBH this year so i was happy for him.  41 is young to have brain cancer.
