I've been absent from these forums so long I couldn't remember my account info and had to create a new one. Stoked to be headed to this show with my bride of 9 months...first mmj experience for her (well, unless you count me making her a gazillion playlists and subjecting her to umpteen viewings of Okonokos). It will be my first show since 2012.

I got SO excited for you guys just reading this. It's going to be a night to remember for sure!

Get excited!! Not only will we experience an evening with The Jacket but Knoxville is hosting the International Biscuit Festival     http://biscuitfest.com/biscuit-bash/
Loads of food venders and American Aquarium is playing for $5 Friday Night if you're already in town and into their sound.

Suttrees is walking distance from the theatre and has the best beer in town, but it gets packed.

Icon is unique  (it's in the sunsphere) but kind of "stuffy"..... room is also an issue.

I'd say the best spot would be the Preservation Pub and it's sister bar next door Scruffy City. Early birds get the pres pub rooftop which is the place to be.

Preservation Pub looks like a very cool spot from the website so I think that's where me and the hubby will be hanging out pre show. Hope to meet some of you cool cats there!

The wife and I are staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  First time in Knoxville.  The Preservation Pub looks awesome.  I believe that is where we shall pre-game and receive nourishment before our minds are blown all over the Tennessee Theatre.  Soooooo pumped.  Safe travels from wherever you embark!

Plus, it sure beats having to stand for that extra time outside. Also, I recently got an extra ticket for my wife that is separate from mine by a few rows. With the early entry, we can mingle a bit or just sit together until everyone else gets let in to claim their seats.

Yes all great points.  Don't get me wrong I like the early entry, just wasnt sure if there was some GA I wasn't aware of.  Can't wait to see this place.

If you have the regular roll call package (not digital), you should have a laminate that that's what gets you early entry.   The tickets can be from anywhere.  :)

Sweet, that's what I thought.  One more dumbass question, any idea the wife and I could both get in with just one laminate?  I'd imagine no but figured I'd ask.
