2 GA tickets available for tonight!  Make me an offer, they're just going unused :(

How did you and your family like the show?  They played Steam.  That must have been emotional.

Lonndown27

they really played an amazing Steam Engine for Erik :) listening to the recording right now wow...hopefully they knew the story behind this great Jacketeer whos sadly gone :( Much love and happiness to you, Sis!

Consensus was that there were too many repeats from Camden, but the tweaks to to Fracture and Touch Me the second time around were special and well worth hearing again.  I'm looking forward to hearing the evolution of these songs and their jamming in November.

I'd agree with the consensus there but with it being two single shows, I was kind of expecting the repeats. Still those who went to both got some gems. Lay Low,Masterplan, PWW,Dondante, Steam, Twilight, Run Thru, It Beats, Gideon, and even though we got it both nights, Off The Record to open Camden was fucking great! I've never seen it open so that was a treat for me.

Totally agree with your comments on the tweaks, and evolution of the tunes you mentioned. I'd throw Tropics into the evolution mix as well. Really looking forward to seeing that evolve live even more over the tours, and  years to come. It's a great tune, and I could see it turning into a long jammin monster.

Anyone else's ears still ringing from MPP? I had my Eytonics in thankfully but they're still ringin! Holy Shit was that a loud, rockin show!

Great show all around and my best of the year so far.  The crowd was awesome and I think the guys really fed off of it.  Yes there are lots of repeats these aren't same venue shows on multiple nights and they are promoting an album so I kind of figured as much.  Compound, Believe, Spring, Tropics, Waterfall, Off the Record, Scream II, Off the Record, Victory Dance, Mahgeetah, Circuital, Wordless have been played at all three shows I have seen of this tour and I would think that might be the main set, just moved around for each show.  Then you get a couple of real deep cuts thrown in, a couple of the other new album songs and then a few popular songs that rotate in and out to round it out.  Not quite a real spontaneous curation series like the first time around, but kind of what I expected to be honest.

With that said this was a fantastic show, any time you get a full Run Thru these days its a great show.  Throw in Twilight and also Carl jamming out right in front of Eric, Jeff and I during OBH just made it awesome.  Plus MPP always tends to bring out a large turnout of forum peeps and that's always a good thing IMO.

.
Not the spontaneous curation I was thinking.
When everyone is basically begging for Friends Again
And Oxen, there has to be a pretty damn good reason that they don't play it.
But while the show is going on... I can only focus on the goodness one after another...
Full run thru was great to hear.
Only change I would have liked to have seen (after knowing that Dancefloors was on the set list now and  cut due to stupid curfew) and being at Camden the night before... I would have like to see Dancefloors replace Touch Me Pt 2.
Dancefloors > Gideon > OBH
Damn great way to finish any show

Either which way... Both nights were amazing!
MPP was a great place as well!! The sound was awesome!!!!

thats whats hard about this band: even a greatest hits set list of songs youve seen live a billion times can still be electrifying. but come on im Carl Bo Patrick and Tommy we wanna hear the real real real rarities, We love the new ones too.but is it just me or is it time Wordless, Lay Low (except for in a solos only jam), OBH and Im Amazed get retired at least for a while?

didn't the band hug after Steam Engine? I took that to show they knew how special that song was for those in attendance that loved Erik.

i was wondering what got cut since there was definitely one more song coming but Jim cut it short after Victory. Carl strapped up for it but JJ just exited stage left and tapped him on shoulder that they were done for main set.  That place would have gone next level if they played Dancefloors.

So sad that Hillside was cut too, I requested and was really hoping for that. It's the thought that counts!? Stupid curfew. Glad they played Steam Engine though.

Regardless, it was an amazing show. Camden was insanity but when I got to MPP I remembered why I love it there so much. The place is always filled with crazies just like me. At least I didn't have a grumpy woman staring me down the whole time at MPP.

Did anyone else have grumpies around you in Camden? I paid them no attention but c'mon, you're in the PIT, put on your big boy pants and have some effin' fun!!

i wasnt at mpp, was dying to go, so looking for reviews of how it compared to camden. i thought the bands energy was off the hook at camden, and at times i felt liek i was the only one going really nuts, but there were no grumpy pants.  just people that are more relaxed in how they enjoy the show..

pretty sure they also soundchecked Chills before they let in the Soundcheck Party. At least that's what it sounded like from the outside.
