Between this article and the Reddit AMA today, i've been reinforced and revitalized in my appreciation for this group of guys and I wholeheartedly anticipate what is about to happen starting in May.

I picked up a copy of this yesterday and even though the author is a clear fan I still found that he was able to get some great insights from the band.

Reading about the recording process was great. Hearing that Jim had not spent that much time near the ocean and how much it impacted his mindset at Stinson was cool.  I've lived near the beach for the last 22 years so I guess I take for granted at times the impact it can have. 

The Carl story about first hearing the band and then auditioning was terrific. Never knew that one. 

And then how the T5 shows have impacted the live shows was also another great insight.

Excellent stuff.
