I don't have a problem with them not allowing plus  2's or more but not allowing a plus 1 is definitely wrong, and going to cause a lot of people problems. You'd think they'd want their most loyal, and passionate fans as close as possible but they're going to lose out on a lot of great people coming in early if they have to choose between that or leaving their significant other behind. No way are people going to want to stand in different lines than their wife, girlfriend etc for an hour or more at some shows.

Why the change in policy from past tours? Change just for change's sake? 

Personally I thought having a bunch of Roll Callers, and their plus 1's all together close to the stage always went over pretty well. It kept that area pretty secure, free of any major problems, and really had a family feel where everyone looked out for each other. It's going to suck seeing that quite possibly change over this needless change in policy.

I'm also not looking forward to the potential problems of people who do enter early trying to hold spots for the people they came with who are entering with the rest of the ga crowd. That could get ugly, and quick too,IMO.

I think this change in policy is just asking for problems. Ones that don't need to happen, and could be easily avoided by just keeping the past plus 1 policy in place.

you assume that anyone at WU knows what the hell they are talking about?  Bunch of warm bodies filling a room to answer a phone call every once in a while... if they feel like it.

I'm going to one show in Milwaukee, and two in Minneapolis.  I already got screwed on tickets for minneapolis during the presale.  If my wife gets screwed on early entry at milwaukee, this grown man will cry.

Could be but if you look at the RC Deluxe package in the store, there's no +1 listed as part of what you get with the laminate. I could've sworn it was there when I purchased, but I guess  not. Maybe I'm just remembering what was listed in past RC packages.

I placed an order for My Morning Jacket Roll Call Deluxe package on 3/4/15 per the above order number. I'm confused as the item description says the physical items will ship in roughly 3 weeks, and then it says the first shipment of items will be in 6-8 weeks. It has been just over 8 weeks since I placed the order, just wondering when I should see my order? One of the physical items - the early entry laminate, I will need for a concert soon. Also, related to the laminate, will the one laminate be good for 2 persons (the holder and 1 guest), as with past tours/Roll Call subscriptions?

Maybe some people will get lucky with venues they've played before being familiar with early entry (MPP for one) but I think any 1st time venue is gonna be another clusterfuck of confusion.
