The only time I'll ever set my DVR for Ellen...

Check this out for upcoming music guest on all the late night and daytime talk shows:

Mr. White

Killer find, timescaper and johnnYYac!

It sure would be fantastic if MMJ would send out e-mail reminders for ALL the special appearances the band makes...ever.

Ellen?? Really? I mean that's awesome for exposure and all... But Ellen? What is her demographic?

Either way gonna check it out and maybe become an Ellen fan

Jack White was on Ellen a few months ago. Pretty cool actually.

War on Drugs too.
Don't you ever turn it off

I'm her demographic. I love that she showcases great music.

Fair enough. I really just am not in the know as I have never seen the show. Plus as I said, I'm excited for the boys to get any coverage they can.

My guide says they're playing "Big Decisions."

Wow, something about Ellen having Jack White, the War on Drugs, and now MMJ on her show really impresses and intrigues me.

I think it's safe to say that her demographic is going to love Jim (and the rest of the band... but definitely Jim).

e-stone

she also had Sharon Van Etten on recently as well.  Ellen is alright with me.

Is there any way to watch this via a live stream on a computer? I'm at work and don't have a DVR at home

Those network shows typically archive the season on their website.  Is there a reason you don't have a DVR.  That might be the best invention in the past 15 years.

Well I don't really watch much TV, my apartment gives free expanded basic and I use XBMC to pirate any show/movie.

But thanks for the heads up, I will be checking her site.

Is there a reason why you still have cable TV?

Go there, scroll down a little you will find it

If you have Direct TV, you can enter in keywords and it will record stuff like this automatically.

Go to the search function and type in "My Morning Jacket" at the bottom of the list it'll say "keyword"

Select that and select "all".  Then any performance they ever do will automatically show up.

It's pretty sweet. To my knowledge, TiVO is the only other DVR that does this.

ChiefOKONO

Is it online yet, haven't found the link....
