I know I don't post here often but I am a huge MMJ fan and their Lolla performance with the Chicago Youth orchestra was amazing.  Does anyone know of a recording anywhere?

The following was posted on( http://bt.etree.org/ ) by the taper that recorded the Pearl Jam set.

"Only other band I got was MMJ. Will post it here in the next few days. Yes, Rodman was on stage and yes he did hoist Ed on his shoulders."

I would just check there for the next couple of days, I'm sure it will pop up soon.

shit ya!  thanks, brian.  welcome back!

Thanks Dylan.

I'm just going to suggest that anyone interested in this recording leave this guy a reply on e.tree about how excited you are to hear the mmj set and how good the PJ recording sounds (It sounds pretty good) you don't need to listen.  It might speed up the process a bit though.

P.S.

If you are interested in hearing an AMAZING Pearl Jam show and recording check the link below.  It's the show they played at The Vic while they were in Chicago, a little warm up for Lolla and a treat for serious PJ fans.  It's more intimate, a better recording and the kind of setlist that makes diehard PJ fans FREAK THE FUCK OUT!!!  I think you had to be a close personal friend of the band to even get into this show.  It's beautiful.

Thanks for the heads up.  Downloading now.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Yes!!!!, check it out....   http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=508838

I haven't listened to the recording yet but I do recognize the name of the taper, so I bet it's a pretty good recording.  There is a 24bit recording by the same taper, I don't really know what that means but I think it means that it sounds better on your computer but that you can't burn it to cd.  I posted the link to the version you can burn (16bit).  R.O.C.K.  :-*

BH!!!!!!   you rule.  Don't worry, we'll make our run once Rick Ankiel gets called up.  :-?

Yes sir. Downloading.........now.  Question how come I can find (almost) all the shows I want on BT when I can't get them on archive? Is it just a legal issue?

joey_rogo

Any special reason why I cant connect to this tracker?? It keeps timing out. I've downloaded many torrents before, this is my first try from bt.etree though. I'm signed up and logged in....any ideas??

EDIT: problem solved....

I've never downloaded a 24 bit recording. From what I understand, they sound much better than 16 bit because you can get more frequencies that are filtered out of 16 bit recordings which give it a richer sound.
They can be burned to Audio DVDs and played in DVD players and home theatre systems.

small note that you must have a dvd player that will play dvd-a and the proper software to author such a disc. I bought a Toshiba dvd player a couple years back that plays dvd-a and sacd (sony's HQ format) for less than a hundred bucks.

Hey guys, I've never actually posted here but I'm DYING to hear the Lolla set and don't know how to figure out torrent. Is there any chance anyone could zip it and post it in sendspace. Please? Thanks in advance.

Kory

I will this evening after work, after that, I'll try and get it going to the archive. I'll post the sendspace back here later tonight.

thanks Kory. And thanks for the half dozen other MMJ shows that you've helped me out in acquiring on this board over the past year or so (even if you didn't know it). Much much appreciated.

I have to be that guy and ask.  Any way you could post this show on the archive, with mp3s posted?  My computer can't really handle much space and I don't have a burner so my only route is mp3>iPod.
Keep on dreamin' boy,
