Carl playin the slide...

Anyone else notice that Carl's playin a lot more slide guitar this tour?
Not pedal steel, but actual slide guitar with the metal bottleneck on his finger a' la Duane Allman. I think its the same metal tube he uses on the pedal-steel...?

Awesome....great fan of the bottleneck. Hopefully on the next album there will be a great slide guitar song.

Yes! I noticed that the other night in Minnesota.  I think he used that during the jam on Dondante, or PWW.  I can't recall exactly which song (one of the longer songs that they jammed on).  But there was one specific time that it changed up the jam quite a bit and made it really different and great.
