Carl's lap steel?   Either way, won't that affect the sound?
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Well, they have had some time off to think and rehearse, and it's a Wednesday, so those two factors could influence the set to be a bit deeper.  On the other hand, it could also be like Kansas City and be like a festival setlist that serves as a warm up to a bigger stage (Red Rocks/Seattle).  Time will tell, but one way or another i fully expect to see Hopefully plastered all over this next tour leg, as it was last tour leg, so that i can continue to wring my hair in frustration over the fact that I saw 13 sets in 2015 and STILL cannot capture that elusive live rendition....

Btw, Hopefully being played outta the ashes of Phone Went West to end one of the shows in Europe (may have been Paradiso) is one of their best ever ideas....a total Coda of epic proportions

The joint filled in nicely, and the show's trajectory felt very good imo. Definitely was an interesting set - lots off Waterfall, but nice segues and some solid jams. Bermuda Highway was perfection.

Jim was in an interesting (good) mood. He was chewing gum during the encore, and in general, moving with an ease that I haven't seen before. He looked relaxed and pretty dialed in.

Though it felt a tad short (almost 2 hours exactly), I have no complaints. Expected to see more variety in the setlist, but like every show these guys put on, what's on paper really doesn't matter - this was a joy to experience, and I am even more excited to head up to Seattle.

Cheers,
Michael

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. The last minute time change may have contributed to the poor attendance for Strand of Oaks. Too bad more people didn't see them. It was a great set. Sat in the second balcony. Maybe a couple dozen people up there, at most. Kind of felt like a private party. Anyway, Master Plan and Only Memories were the highlights for me. The whole show kicked ass, but those two stood out.
