I'm really, really hoping to make it to one or both of these shows!

I've only been to the Orpheum once and our seats were under the balcony, which was far from ideal.  Does anyone know what the last row of seats are that aren't under the balcony?

Yeah, would be good to know if this is a GA or Reserved Seating event before jumping through the Roll Call Pre-Sale hoops.
Always starting over, but somehow I always know where to begin.

Thinking about making the trek up from PA - how's the venue?  Is there a pit or is it all seats?

I'll answer all questions since i've been to the Orpheum endless times.
It's a cool venue, very old and run down. Assigned seating only, seating is very tight since the venue is so old.
Capacity is about 1200-1500 if i were to guess and the balcony overhangs at row M.

I'd say if you were choosing between beacon and orpheum to go Beacon, better venue all around.

Now hoping somebody can answer roll call questions for me. Considering signing up for a deluxe package. How good are the seats usually and how hard are they to get?
I'm a bit hesitant since a membership will cost like $65 and come with a shirt size that won't even fit me (xs/s/xxl only sizes left)

Capacity is at 2,700 according to Wikipedia.

jbpats - If you don't already have Roll Call I probably wouldn't bother signing up just for this presale.  It seems there hasn't been a lot of tickets available for Roll Call presales for the this tour (smaller venues).  If you get shut out then it's just a waste of $ if you don't care about the merch that comes with it.

Appreciate you giving me a heads up. 2700 seems very high to me, there is also a seatibg chart on their website that counts out to about 1500 seats.
Just a tip avoid left or right orchestra at all costs, you might think you're close but the seats will be extremely obstructed. Only buy lc/rc down low or center/lc/rc for mid orchestra.

So, is there a chance that the TM tix will be better than roll call? Or is there such a small number that people generally get shut out?

Yeah definitely some the general sale will be better than Roll Call.  RC gets some really good seats and some not so great (although most are better than avg).  I'm not really sure what the breakdown is for seat location in terms of numbers is for each sale though.

Jbpats

Orpheum withholds a ton of tickets and does random drops between when tix go onsale to the show. The initial onsale is crap 10 times out of 10.
One of the reasons i was considering signing up for the roll call

Agreed on not buying if this is your only reason.  Even if you don't get shut out, there is a very good chance you will get better seats during the regular sale anyway.

But if some of the merch is appealing and you're interested in the soundcheck option, then the cost is worth it.  Plus you'll get a shot at Roll Call which could be surprisingly good since it's an all seated venue.

My wife and I are looking to make the Orpheum shows. Just signed up for the digital plan to try our luck in getting multi-night tix (figured it was only 15bones anyway).

Question for a roll call novice. Where is the link for the pre-sale located when it goes down tomorrow during digi-only roll call presale? Will it be in the show news link? On the tour page? Or in the roll call early entry (uncertain this show will have early entry)? Or somewhere else?

Haven't used roll call since its 1st year and thought it was a bust so never renewed.

Any advice would help as we will be doing this at work from our phone which is less than ideal but the only option

The shows are up on the tour page now, and the tickets link will be live when the presale starts. I'm not sure how long the digital RC members have to wait till they can buy but that's where you'll want to go.

Another quick question about the roll call process. It says that you willhave to login to your roll call account  before choosing the show. Where is it we log in to roll call?  I cannot find where to sign in on the website
