I bet whoever has the setlist could hold it up to the light and see...

:undecided:

PS- were there subs for those songs or were the just scratched...?

One scratch out is definitely Smokin', which is a shame because I love that fucking song.
It's DON FREAKIN DANTE by My Morning Jacket, just chill the hell out and listen!

And there were no subs either. Still a really killer show though. Despite the mall cop that kept trying to start problems in the pit, we still had loads of fun rocking out with our new buds.

War Begun! What is Wild Hiney?

Safe travels to everybody driving home throughout the state.
Here it is, in its entirety, our cover of ELO's Telephone Wire

dookie shoot bandit

Wild Honey???

Beach Boys?

Edit: nevermind.... It's a Fruits Bats cover

Jackets N Pones

Ha sorry typo yeah Wild Honey thanks. On that note does anybody know where to find the Fruit Bats set lists for these openers? I think they said they played some newer ones that sounded great so I would like to find out the song titles. Also, how cool is the fruit bats keyboardist?! Loved the crowd pointing and background dance type moves he brought!

great show! was unfortunate to be in the one section where people sat down and people probably hated me for jammin, but HOW CAN YOU NOT? youre there to see the greatest band in the world, get up and jam for Gods sake. That being said it was the best dondante i had seen (besides ATL 1) and finally got my "hell". Thin Line a lot better live also

Hey tipptoes22. Sorry, it must have been another Derek. I have never been to Milwaukee. I don't have any other shows on the books for this year,  but I'm sure we will run into each other on the road.

what a great
one to cross out :(

Both cross outs are spectacular white whales I was hoping for! I suppose I'll just have to keep going to more shows now :)

I was wondering if maybe they were going to have Eric (from Fruit Bats) come out for one or both songs that got scratched, and if that had anything to do with it... It seems weird to scratch a song that early in the set if they were worried about time

Mall cop? Are you referring to the troll complaining about 'stans' on another thread or someone else? I was front and center so didn't get to see a lot of the crowd but I apologize for any problems I may have caused by getting too hyped!!

Nah, it was this guy that claimed he was a cop when people started sparking up but then wouldn't do anything to stop a fight that was happening maybe 6 feet away from him. I was right there with you getting crazy hyped though, it was almost impossible not to be!!!

We had a similar experience with a power tripping rent-a-cop outside the venue in Austin the night before... Trying to get our drink on (discreetly, out of soda cups) while waiting in line and this dude comes up and asks what's in my cup... I guess he didn't believe me that it was apple juice because he took it out of my hand, smelled it and then told us he wasn't gonna let us in, and that he was going to get back up... After getting a real cop as backup, this douche  comes back out and lectures us all about breaking the rules and ruining the whole concert for everyone, but the real cop behind him looked bored and annoyed the whole time!
These are the types of people that need to pay more attention to the gospel of Jim James!
