Caught The Struts at Wooly's in Des Moines, IA Monday night.

Helluva show!  A group of young blokes from across the pond. Classic anthemic rock with a flamboyant, sweaty frontman bringing Freddy Mercury and Ziggy Stardust to mind.  They had the crowd in the palm of their hand and wielded that power well.

I got there early, to meet the band, ask some questions, get a picture and signed poster.  Pretty geeky, fanboy experience, all the creepier for this old guy.  I don't give a fuck.



Their discography is shallow, with really only one album.  They had released a 4-track EP a year or two ago, then an 11-track LP, which contained the four songs from the EP.  At the show, they had a 13-track album that contained the 11 tracks from the earlier album.
Confused?  Bottom line, you only need the latest, Everybody Wants.  I'd say its worth it.

They're touring extensively, including a festival that includes MMJ, Shaky Knees.
