Friends, I recently stumbled upon this 2000 JJ acoustic hell and it really reignited my passion for the song

Then I watched the red rocks hell. Very interesting juxtaposition. Two different presentations, both incredible displays of how this band continues to adapt and grow and make great music.

Beautiful and so genuine.  The same heart clearly beats under all versions.

Here's my recording from Port Chester.  The light was very low - all red - so not so distinct but you can still see Jim kneeling before Tommy, LOL.

This post made me watch it for the first time in a long while.  Brings back great memories, flames and all!

Only 137 views. Really?!?  I guess you're among the select few.

I remember that hell like it was yesterday. GREAT video!!!!  Love the cap!!  You caught it all. Shame that only 137 people recognize this greatness. Thanks for posting that video.

I think that's the first time I've seen this video. I remember turning away from the rail to watch those amazing projections during the song. What a great night this was!

I love the explanation for the song in This is Not America!  I'm partial to the acoustic version, but Carl's slide is killer!  Definitely one of my favorites.

The acoustic version is just so perfect. But I do have to say that the full band live versions can just blow you out of the water. A heavy song for sure.
Doesn't matter what you're doin', as long as you're losin' your head

Great tune any way you slice it.  thanks for sharing! Hadn't seen that

seems like OBH2 was a turning point for this song's arrangement (despite the technical difficulties with Jim's pick up burning out).  I love the electric - same with At Dawn - lots of new textures to an old standard

And yes, this killed at RR this year - the amplification off the rocks was awesome in so many ways
What's in here won't disappear

Thank you for bringing this video to everybody's attention. I just watched this video for the first time. Listened to it more than a few, and was at those hallowed shows, and all I've got to say is...Portchester, man...Portchester :)  !
