IF you were at SB Bowl, LA and San Diego (or hell 2 out of 3), I'd love to hear about your favorite moments. I feel lucky that I hit all 3. SB Bowl and LA were similar set lists and then they threw it all away in San Diego and went for the older cuts. It was simply perfection. Also the intimacy of SB Bowl felt really special. Seeing them on a smaller stage is such a treat. Here are my song highlights from each show. Please share yours!

SB BOWL
Spring
Golden
Steam
Wordless
Touch Pt. 2 (and yes, I got the finger touch)
Circuital
Bermuda
River

LA/ SHRINE
LAYLOW!!! The fucking ultimate!
New Life
Overall Carl was the highlight of this night. He was on fucking FIRE!

SAN DIEGO STATE U:
Picture
Thin Line
War
Phone Went West
OBH

LA and SB. 15 out of 19 song the same. Truly bummed me out seeing all the mix up set lists before and after. Why would they do that with shows a hundred miles apart? Both shows were also like mini versions of Red Rocks, which was the other show I saw. Having said that, they were MMJ shows and were great. I just felt like a fool telling the person I took to LA, who saw his first show ever in SB, that the shows would be very different. I have an old high school friend who knows nothing about MMJ and went to SD. He said it was the best sounding show from a musician standpoint he has ever heard. I saw Springsteen with him in 1981, so that is saying something. That was a great setlist.

although I had a killer spot in the pit in LA...

LA and SB, although kick ass, were not on par with the Seattle and SF shows I caught (did not make it to SD).  Always a great time though.  Never a bad show, never a bad night.

I hear you walterfredo and rincon2. I was disappointed in the number of repeats also and the only guess I have is that they felt they needed the LA market to get all of the new stuff and the "hits", if you will. What made it for me in LA was Laylow, which is always an epic experience, and again Carl really brought an amped up energy that night. SD show was really, really special. The only issue were a lot of men around me who needed to chit chat most of the time. SO HARD TO DEAL WITH!! That is not what the pit is for people.
We must have been very close to one another in LA. I was in front of Carl, but about 3 people back from front.
They are announcing new Cali dates for 2016, so get ready!

Looks like we were all within 5 feet of each other in LA. Anyone know who the tall guy with glasses was that during the encore went right in front of Carl and was pogoing all over the place? I had to be wary of his feet landing on my birkenstocked toes.

Nice photos, I dig 'em especially that one of Carl with sax and guitar.
