You ever hear Jim James voice? You ever hear Jim James voice...... On Whipp-its?
Mona Lisa must'a had the highway blues, you can tell by the way she smiles.

It was INSANE seeing / hearing the tanks literally right outside the front doors of the Beacon.  It's mafia type chit in the northeast.
If it would have been easy, I would not have cared.

Ive seen similar nitrous situation right outside the Hammerstein Ballroom, out in the open on the street.  NYC Cops don't give a shit.  Probably receive a little kick back.

It was same outside of Orpheum in Boston.

Walking past the Beacon in the early hours of the morn and seeing dozens of shredded balloon remnants, I had no idea what kinda celebration they were associated with. Didn't even THINK there were balloons like that anywhere outside of Roo.

I just want clean video or audio of Touch Me Pt 2>Cobra>Run Thru

There's a 2 minute video on the FB fan page of the jam at end of Touch Me. I've watched it at least 10x. Bo was on FI-YAH!

@parkervb ~ It was one of the best encores I've seen them play.  Seemed to go on forever, Jim was cruising the rail giving index finger touches with a super chill vibe.  Then they melted everyone's face for about 45 minutes.  Proper close to an unbelievable tour and 4 night run.
If it would have been easy, I would not have cared.

Good Lord that Phone is just ridiculous! I thought RR 2012 was at the top of the heap but I think it has now been surpassed. Carl was all fired up!

Despite seeing MMJ a lot this year, it was still a bit painful to miss the Beacon shows.  It has been fun to read all the comments.   I will soon make time to watch some You Tube clips with PWW being the first on my list.  Everyone has been raving about that version.  Thanks for posting links mfc17.

Well Adam it's my belief this was just the first Beacon run.

I'm seeing this as just the start of something Allman like we'll be looking back on down the road, and discussing which run was the most epic!

I said this last week but in the fall of 89 the Allmans started their incredible 20 year Beacon run with four nights! Gotta love that symmetry.   It was also the smallest run they ever did there with most runs going 8-10 shows. Topping off with the epic 19 shows in March of 99!

Now that the Allmans have wrapped up, March at the Beacon has a void that is gonna need filling.  With the success of this run, I'm hoping and praying the powers that be will jump at the chance to get our guys there every year.
"Where's Jim going?"

That would be amazing, but my only hope is that it not be wrapped around T'giving.  I realize it's a fun time of the year to be in NYC, but living on the far other end of the country, it's rough getting to NYC that week when you have kids.  First world problems I guess.
