I've got 5 people in my group with only 2 early entry badges. 2.5 newbies in the group of 5. Will there be anyone going that the 5th in our group could piggy back on your early entry badge?

My plus one is using mine, but I will let you know if that changes.

Thanks Derek. Could I get another roll call laminate now and still use it for this show?

I know it's not sold out, but does anyone care to have more tickets? I can't make it that week, and I'd like to get rid of them. $50/each general admission. Sorry if this isn't kosher.

I'll be there. I was super bummed when they skipped Houston after stops in Austin and Dallas last fall.

I will be going to this concert & I have a rollcall laminate. At this time, I'll be by myself, but, that could change.  If not, I can let u know at the concert venue.

Anybody pre-gaming on Thursday? We were thinking the Flying Saucer if I don't win the Cactus Music shopping spree with Tom.

First MMJ show. Been waiting for this one. I will be going solo. Would love to meet others. I normally use Hard Rock as the watering hole due to it being right next door to the venue. Let me know. I plan on getting down town pretty early to avoid any traffic.

Does anyone know the parking situation around this venue?

There is valet at the venue and a parking garage across the street (entrance on Texas), but I typically just park on the street (metered) a couple of blocks away. The meters have a 3 hour max, but don't charge after 6pm. I plan on getting down there around 3 so I don't have to worry about adding more money to the meter. I usually am able to find parking on Texas, between Main and and San Jacinto, or in that general area.

First show, that's awesome! Do you have a laminate for early entry? I will probably have an extra if anybody needs to borrow. We will probably start at The Flying Saucer and then head over to the venue just after 5 to see if there is much of a line. We will probably duck into the Hard Rock if there isn't a line. Unfortunately, Houston doesn't treat the boys very well, so I don't anticipate too many people doing early entry.

I do not have a laminate. Like you said houston doesn't show up for shows so i figured it wasn't a big concern. that being said, if you have an extra i'll gladly use it. it's a shame cause we miss out on a lot and i always have to travel to either dallas or austin. i probably will skip the saucer. i believe it is beer only and i'm not a beer drinker. i'm down to meet up. I will probably get down there between 3 and 5 to try and score free parking and avoid traffic.

Just curious...you have mentioned twice Houston doesn't treat them well.... what do you mean by that?

This venue is small....so it should be fairly crowded right?  This is where they played in 2011, right?

The place holds about 3,000 people and was only about half full last time they played there. It's not just MMJ though, the crowds in Houston don't show up the same as Dallas or Austin. A lot of bands will just skip Houston because of this.

Yeah I don't think this show is selling well seeing as how much is both still on Ticket Master and Stubhub being way less than TM. Less crowd to worry about I suppose.

I agree with the Houston crowds. I don't see there being many people at this show either, especially because Revention Center has released multiple different sweepstakes and ways to win tickets which leads me to believe they have a lot left and are trying to dump. Also Houston crowds tend to talk a lot during shows, really really bugs me.
