I like a new album from Carl and hopefully MMJ can start to incorporate some of his tunes for more diverse set lists. Be cool if he came to Belly Up, in Aspen! Cheers!

I am getting really excited for this album...I think it could stay on the turntable for a while.
Don't you ever turn it off

Agreed parkervb, this song is really good, Carl's vocals on this song are some of his best.

Yeah I'm really digging everything so far. I really hope 4th of July joins Carried Away in the Jacket rotation. All Birds Say is on my standby record rack at all times. Such a chill sleepy Sunday morning affair type of album.

Not sure where to put this and whether it is deserving of its own thread, but a little chit-chat with Carl on many things:

Way to go NN.  Great questions and great conversation.

Great interview! I love what I call Jim's b-boy stance too.

The only thing I disagree with in this article is this quote

"There are no bells and whistles in his appearance."

Uhhhh hello.... Have you seen his cat shirt that he wears

Great interview and insights, as per usual

And fun, as always, sharing another NFF.  Till next year

I've listened to all of 4th of July 3 times now and I love it. Teddy Morgan did a great job on the production, it has a great vibe all the way through. Way to go Carl!!!

MMJ MUST play this song live.  It's just wrong if they don't!

That's a great video Mr. White.  Thanks for posting.  I highly recommend the livedowloads.com Nashville show available now.  Awesome versions of 4th of July and Carried Away.

I agree with you pliskow..... MMJ has to play it.  I predict they will later this month, and it's going to be nuts.
