I just purchased the mystery box. But it didn't ask me for my shirt size. Was wondering if anybody else had the same problem.

Grateful3323

I was wondering the same thing, maybe it uses your roll call profile?   I wanted to buy a few as gifts bit if sizes are random that not a good deal

Jbpats

Had the same concern so passed, said the stuff is chosen as random so I'd guess sizes are as well.

I haven't gotten one yet. What's the shipping cost? It appears they're trying to clear out inventory that's been sitting. There's been ads every day on my FB for the store as well. I'm guessing this will turn out similar to when they did the mystery poster. Most people being bummed out with what they got, and never hearing about anyone getting a signed or special one. I'm still gonna bite the bullet because I'm a glutton for WU's punishment. Good luck everyone on getting something great!

I was going to grab one because it's only $15 and thought why not? Even with choosing the cheapest shipping (parcel post - $7.00) there was a handling/processing fee and it came to a total of $10.30 for S&h. I'm no cheap skate but paying over $10 extra for a $15 mystery item just didn't seem worth it to me so I passed.

I emailed WU asking about the size question because I'm thinking that it was an oversight, and they just forgot to ask us to put what size we needed.  I will let you know if/when I get a response.   As much as I'd love to get some random, cool MMJ stuff while supporting the band, I'm passing as I don't need an XS or XXL shirt.  If they intentionally didn't have a size option.... that isn't cool and it seems to indicate that they're trying to clear inventory of odd sizes.  Unlike amskiniz, I'm not looking for more WU punishment.

For the record, PJ's Ten Club did a mystery box sale a while ago.  For $90 plus shipping you told them what size you wanted and received three wearable items (shirt/sweatshirt/hat), two posters, two CDs, a bunch of stickers and old backstage passes, and I think a 45 record was thrown in as well.

Yea, I decided I have to stop being part of the problem by supporting it. So I'm gonna pass on this also and put the money towards Carl by getting 4th if July on vinyl.

Same reason I passed.

I went ahead and ordered but you all are probably right. It will probably be a shirt that doesn't fit, or a poster I don't want/need.

odelljaj

I don't understand why they don't update their inventory.  I literally been looking for more sizes for shirts for a year and nothing has been added.

Oh well, here's to getting a baby t-shirt with no baby.

Did you ever hear back from WU?

I just did and came to post that the WU customer service emailed back and confirmed that sizes are random.

OK, this is just about the stupidest goddamn thing I've ever seen, from a company that is notorius for doing stupid goddamn things.

I wonder what I'll get!  :cheesy:

Jbpats

I don't know if us fan club members should be insulted that this deal was only offered to us. WU probably knows we're the only ones who might bite on this tremendous offer.

For $15 + $10 s/h you can have two random pieces of crap, this is our last attempt to make money off this crap before it gets thrown out or donated to the Salvation Army. But since you are a valued fan club member we'll give you exclusive rights to this scam.

This is certainly worth adding to that list.  I'm not sure where it ranks...... Thankfully I forgot some of the other gaffs over the years.

What a joke.  How do you even think of something so dumb?

Yeah, I think I've also tended to block them from my mind as soon as possible. Even stupider though is that I keep buying their shit, because it's "for" MMJ. Not this time though, the stupid burns too much.

Wow, another WU train wreck.  Who could have predicted that?  The minute I saw this I knew it was trouble.  Although, I'll have to admit that for the first few seconds it caught my attention.

Fartsmakemegiggle

I was able to buy a mystery box but I'm not in Roll call. Anyone else able to do this? Shipping was under $4 too. Weird. Anyone know how long shipping takes on these? Plus, wasn't it weird that u can't pick a shirt size. I'm a Men's L. If I get anything else other than that anyone want to trade?
