If you want to go to Broadway and do the Honky Tonks...GO TO ROBERTS WESTERN WORLD! this is the crown jewel of Broadway. It shares the alley of The Ryman, and The Ryman's green room door is literally 5 steps from Roberts back door. This has made for many memorable nights at Roberts...I've seen Steve Earle, Gillian Welch, Willie Watson, J.D. Simo, etc all hop up on stage and do a song. It's one of the few places you'll catch locals at on Broadway.

this place is incredible! I've only been to Nashville once, and randomly stumbled upon this place and went back multiple times over the course of a week. Absolutely loved it.

I will be so JEALOUS if you do, but happy for you at the same time. That's my white whale, got a short intro version back in 2012 but never the whole song. That should be a staple opener for them IMO. Enjoy the show everyone

I guess they just got too carried away playing Carried Away and ran out of time.

Wow, that would have been cool. I would be more upset if I hadn't just gotten War Begun in Cincinnati 2 weeks ago! :) Oh well, Carried Away jam was worth it!!

Oh that sucks, I think they crossed off the wrong two, I would have rather heard those two songs over the three they played in the encore. Too me War into IWSYS is as good as it gets. I sure hope a recording of that Carried Away surfaces, sounds like it was amazing.

Agree completely on the encore. they definitely crossed off the wrong 2!

We took a little video of the 2nd half of Carried Away. will get them up on youtube today and post links...hopefully someone else got the whole thing.

Ascend Amphitheater is a perfect venue with perfect sound. Crowd was well behaved and great around us. Jim called it a "hometown show" and from the stage they were staring at a full moon in a clear sky. No rain at all! We got lucky!
