Some very base highlights:

- Uniform Distortion could have easily been a MMJ record. But MMJ records are just a longer process and he wanted to bang this one out.
- Waterfall PT2 is recorded, needs to be mixed. MMJ Live record is done, mixed, just needs artwork.
- Working on a Tennessee Fire 20th Anniversary set for 2019.

Lonndown27

- band is NOWHERE close to done
- they're releasing something for the 20th anniversary of the Tennessee Fire

- the live album is mixed just needs cover art Jim is ready to finish it off

- the Waterfall second album just needs cover art and mixing and it's done

- they'll both be coming out, if this anniversary release is coming, I'd say by fall we should see one of these and Xmas or early spring for the other. With the Tennesee Fire anniversary edition coming out in Fall or Xmas 2019

Hahahaha oistheone we posted the same thing hahha SIR JYNXALOT

re: TTF 20th anniversary extra material, i would love to get a better recording of Lil Billy. Studio or the one from T5... just something. I love the one from the TTF/AD demo record but need moooorreeeeeee

gardenparty

TTF 20th Anniversary.  Hell yes!

I'd love a live studio recording of all the tunes ala Live in Las Vegas

*thats a tongue twister

parkervb

thanks y'all. I am definitely going to be listening later today.  3 releases coming out in next year makes me think it will be a while before original material gets recorded but that they could still tour in 2019

Pretty good interview overall. Jim did most of the talking which I loved. Very articulate on his feelings and views of society right now. I got the impression he was in a pretty good place right now personally.

Great interview!!! You can definitely tell in Jim's voice that he is in a good place, and even the guy interviewing him acknowledges that. Great to hear! Much happiness and more good vibes sent his way

Man, it seems like The Waterfall Part Deux and this live album have been 'in the can' or nearly there for about two years at this point.
Cuz it's been so long since someone shattered me.

OBH 5 2019 theory: Day 1 is waterfall 2 in full for the first set. Then off to the races ....

for sure! i was happy that Steven pushed a bit on Jim's answer on how close these actually were since we've been hearing about them for literally years.

Thank you that was an awesome interview - one of the best in a while.  I can't wait to hear all the new stuff that is in the pipeline!

Yes, thanks for posting.  Plenty of other stuff I wish he would have asked, but I always enjoy listening to Jim.

My biggest take from this is his viewpoint on slamming Trump. He's right. Continually insulting him is only preaching to your choir. It does little to help the overall situation. I've been guilty, plenty of times. The light at the end of the tunnel will be lead by people like Steve Schmidt, Michael Bloomberg, and George Will. Lifelong conservatives who see the same things wrong as most liberals, but have some credibility with the right.
