A transalbumfantasia of the Jacket's greatest hits since they released OKONOKOS in late 2006, many of the key songs after and before that weren't on OKONOKOS now hit the big screens with a fiercesomely orgasmic set of molten, pulverizing psychedelic rock and roll, captured live at their incestuous home Red Rocks on a hot August night in 2025, Jim James, Carl Broemel, Patrick Hallahan, Tom Blankenship and Bo Koster lay down nearly 30 of their career's second & third wave of hits, bits and cookie chips, while also delivering uncut gems that haven't been officially released on a visual scale on MMJ Home Video yet before....we have now remedied that situation and deliver to you, a triple disc DVD including a third disc entitled
MMJ CHRONICLES PT.I: The Saga Is Born (1999-2009) a documentary chock full of behind the scenes footage, including a Jim and Carl fist fight, Bo crashing the tour bus in a drunken haze, and Tom threatening to write lyrics for the next album.
It is riveting watching, including a sleep deprived, "madeyed Scorsese coke look" Jim holding John Leckie at gunpoint when the former Stone Roses producer & Beatles apprentice tried to remix Into the Woods without Jim's authority & permission.
Plus a nude scene featuring Bo posing naked alongside a dead chicken for the everly creepy lens of filmmaker Lars Von Trier.
