Red Rocks August 2025

Got the greenlight from the wife to go to Red Rocks, super pumped for Z night, my first love of Jacket, the first album I heard from them freshmen year of college, changed my life.

Starting to wonder what other songs we'll hear that night for "songs from that era"
Obviously I think we'll get 'Chills', really hoping for 'Where to Begin', been chasing that one for so long.

I think anything from Chapters 1 & 2 are on the table as well.

Here's to you getting your 'Where To Begin' - it took me 27 shows to finally get it at OBH this year.

Awesome Bryan thank you! I'll be tracking the set list for sure. Also I met this awesome guy named Dylan at the Austin and Houston shows and he messaged me that he was up there this weekend. Random but if you happen to run into Dylan let me know!

Man what an incredible weekend. Both shows went so damn hard. Nearly every song from Z felt like one of if not the best version I've heard. The rest of N1 was fantastic. Cobra into Squid Ink, where to Begin into Do it Again

N2 with the eras show was so fun. Picked some interesting but great songs from the albums. 2nd time they've played Still Thinking and they made it memorable. Don't think I'll ever get a Phone-Steam back to back again. Black Sabbath was so awesome with the wind and smoke and red lights. Still surprised we didn't get a beach boys cover but so so happy with the weekend.

Your point about seeing best versions ever is something I find myself saying all the time when leaving a show. It's pretty incredible to feel that way with them topping themselves seemingly every show.

They're never stale or mailing it in, but instead primed to be even better than the show or night before.

I'm a big sports fan and it's kind of like great athletes always pushing to be better and never satisfied with good enough, they want great. That's what they're giving us, and why I can't get enough.

Sorry, I just saw this. Yep, we did Dillon and Red Rocks. It was a great run.
