just putting the thread back on track...

"Hopefully it occurs to me that there's one thing I cant stand.
That's the thought of a single day, without your head in my hand."

i've known you for years, i know all your moves, i just
cant believe that it caved in this soon. and i'm playin it over and over
again in my head.

Makes me want to cry! I really, really, LOVE this song.
There's Still Time.........

katkillad

"all alone at the end of the day. really tired it's time to hit the hay.
it was always good to hear you say:"you never were a drawback, you always were an asset, you never were a drawback, no you weren't." put away your corset, put away your shoe, put away the old september blues."

I know I just quoted the whole song, but i think about this song as a sad lullaby.  If the kids young enough they wont understand anyways...its just the tones that count.

I'm suprised we haven't seen..."and if all else fails, i'll come running back, wonderin where you went with my heart"  That one is sad :-/  It is an echo of my life.

ALSO...the melody at the end of I will sing you songs stirs a lot of emotions in me.  I know it doesn't have any real lyrics, but it is amazing.

Imran

"tell me im wrong, tell me im right, tell me theres nobody else in the world..."

"yeah you only gotta dance with me..."

Lowdown

Wow! Thank you all, I haven't cried in years...

My contribution (hope its not a repeat):
Lowdown, cheatin'
Sho' no need for repeatin'
So love, dawg, can't you see
That you never gotta fight with me?
Hurtin', beatin'
Ain't no need for repeatin'
So love, dawg, can't you see
That you never gotta bleed for me?
Chancin', glancin'
Sho'nuff mood for romancin'
So love, dawg, can't you see
That you only gotta dance with me.

Very simple.  Very annoying to English majors.  But who can't relate in one way or another?  I sure wish I couldn't... :'(

MMJ_fanatic

yea I have to admit a special soft spot for Lowdown ;)

Me too. Like you, fanatic, my first album was At Dawn, and Lowdown and The Way That He Sings were the first tracks to grab me. I soon started to love the others, but those two will always have a special place for me.

I love hearing these stories.

For me, I didn't hear them on the radio at all-my first MMJ notes were heard LIVE, which still gives me chills doooooooooooowwn my spiiiii-ine.
