alright, maybe i'm crazy, which could be true. but when i was listening to death is the easy way today on at dawn it sounded like there was whispering in the background, like maybe jim's voice. does anyone know what i'm talking about? sorry if this has been discussed before. it's making me crazzazy, which is just like crazy but with two z's.  ;)

I have heard that wispering too. I was listening on my iPod and I started looking around nervously trying to figure it out...but realized it was only James.
But aside from that HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE THIS SONG? :D

i have totally heard that and it's crazy! sounds like some random r&b song is starting or something. all of at dawn is laced with strange sounds, like crickets and such. but i couldn't figure out this whispering.

on the "paul is dead" note, i overheard a conversation on the shuttle bus to school the other day and this guy was insisting paul really did die and the paul we see now is just a double. isn't that crazy? i saw paul in dallas in 2002 and if that's a double, he's doing a pretty damn good job.  ;)

Well, he would, wouldn't he? He's been keeping it up for almost 40 years now! The story is that they hired a guy who sounded exactly like Paul and then changed his face with plastic surgery. Ofcourse I think it's bollocks too, but saying "that must be bollocks, 'cause I saw him two years ago and he looks exactly like him!" is not very strong...

And I think it's also a bit overstated to say that 5 seconds of another song at the end of Rollin'Back is "crazy". It's just a joke, or maybe someone left the radio on, that's just spontaneous recording, I guess...

oh goodness. well, "crazy" in this case just means that i think it's pretty cool. i like discovering or hearing about little jokes and secrets like that on albums. it's intriguing and fun to find something after you've listened to the album so much and think you know all there is to know.

and as for paul, well, i just meant that of course the whole thing is rubbish, but if that paul were a double, he would sure know his stuff! that was a really good concert, by the way, i had a lot of fun!  :)
