there WERE issues with the damn thingy;  had to reinstall, fuss with the DSL provider, check all of the connections...

damndest thing...passive mode was on, but no IP range to direct that traffic to this machine.  also, when anyone connects, it opens 2 sessions per IP (TCP/UDP)...so I had to open it up to 10 users per acct as when more than 4 people were on, even I couldn't connect!

It may come to pass that everyone gets a unique login ID...that would clear that problem right up!  

More to follow...the PC itself is a handmedown with issues of its own (that I thought were corrected), but nothing that should cause the probs I've seen lately...hmmmmmm.

Anyhoo, keep trying!  Scott, I swear I'll get to your email.  Sorry for the delay...and to everyone else, I'm going to try to post bit torrent instructions and/or links to helpful sites to assist everyone.

Hey, no problem John!  I got my issues all worked out.  Turns out my main issue is lack of computer skills.   ;)

Anyway, I finally got Headliners 9/26/03 downloaded, and it's sounding great!  Next it's on to Headliners 9/27 ;D
