Okay.  So there are various recordings of different songs - some studio, some live.  Has anyone ever noticed that the keys change?

Today I played along to Acoustic Citsuoca, and I may be wrong (in fact, it's more probably that I'm wrong than right), but I don't remember playing Sooner in that key.

(But I disputed Brian's 8th fret account of One Big Holiday, so it's very probable that I'm wrong.)

Meg, can you post the chords you play for "sooner"?  Thanks.

Ummm, sure.  It's from Acoustic Citsuoca.

(This is from memory, as it's late.)

D, G and A and (crap) F#-.?

I think.

I only learn the rhythm.  Does that make sense?  Would you like a transcription?  I could do that, but it would have to be tomorrow...

its not just a half-step difference is it? he might've tuned down for one recording.

this should be the bass line for sooner

this also works for parts in Mahgeeta

Yeah I think sooner is just C...F...G  And I've been playing Hopefully with a capo on the 3rd fret.  Does Jim do that?
