5. Milkshake - Keilis (This song is good to get your grind on to, you know, bumpin uglys)

4. Can't Fight This Felling - REO Speedwagon (This song gets me pumped up)

3. Facination Street - The Cure (If I was a DJ I would play The Cure everyother song.  Evertime I go to a strip club (it's not really THAT often) I bring my own copy of Facination Street and make the DJ play it.

2. The Pina Colada Song - Rupert Holmes (You can dance to it, I swear!)

1. No Cabaret - VHS or Beta (Louisville in the hizieeee, plus what great dance music)

Your choices are pretty cool Sweatboard
Agree on "Milkshake" by Kelis, Or "Trick Me", like that one too.
"10.15 Saturday Night" or "Boys Don't Cry by" The Cure would also work fine.

Ok, as I MIGHT be attending, here are some of my ingredients for a fine party.

Outkast: "Hey Ya" because it's good and I know Jim likes them.

Prince: "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man"

Curtis Mayfield: "Move On Up"

Roxy Music: "Same Old Scene"

David Bowie: "China Girl"

MMJ: a part of "Cobra"

Elvis: "Jailhouse Rock" and/or a fine Elvis ballad!

Marvin Gaye: "You"

Madness: "One Step Beyond"

To go with the Gansta theme...

50 Cent: "In Da Club"

Snoop Dogg and Pharell: "Beautiful"

Warren G: "Regulate"

Dr Dre: "Still DRE"

And as a final slow one, The Commodores: "Three Times A Lady"  ;D

Oh, just saw it was supposed to be a top 5  ::)
Ok any five from this longlist!

Haha, "drip drip" indeed, awesome song.

You should've put "In Da Club"  ;) If everyone requests it he might play it! And It will go along well with my bottle of dom perignon '95.

Yes, any Prince would be fine by me, so much good stuff.

Haha, another Charles Wright fan, awesome! "Love Land" would be sweet too.

I'm going to pick my all time favourite slow dance songs.

1.  Crazy For You - Madonna
2.  In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel (I don't care.  Boys who play that song on ghetto blasters outside your house will always be welcome.)
3.  Moon River - I kind of like Morrissey's version, but the one from Breakfast at Tiffany's is good.  And I believe that would be Henry Mancini.
4.  Somebody - Depech Mode (this should maybe be number one)
5.  I Walk the Line - Johnny Cash (no explanation necessary)

That's five.  I could do seventy-five.

The Outkast choice is awesome.  In fact, the entire outkast repetoire could be played and I would not stop dancing unless I had to pee.

I also love dancing to some Pulp.

Man I didn't even get into the old jazz songs.  I couldn't be a dj.  It's too hard to choose.

Beck - The entire "Midnight Vultures" Album

QuoteBeck - The entire "Midnight Vultures" Album

mmmm good.  I think I would choose Odelay over Midnight Vultures, although I can see where you would choose it.

Also, what the hell, I forgot about Parliament.

And James Brown.

damn.

A big "Hell Yes!" to James Brown and Parliament/Funkadelic.

Pulp: "Disco 2000"
Beck: "Debra", "Where It's At" etc.
Depeche Mode: "Never Let Me Down Again" or "Enjoy The      Silence"

And I restate my "More Than A Woman" request!!

Oh Shit, We Can't forget VHS or Beta.  I added "No Cabaret" to my top five but any of the songs would be great.
